I'm also still on Skyrim. I don't think I'm ever going to get to another game ever again.

I just realized it's taken me almost two months to put 53 hours into that game. That's depressing. Before I graduated I could have easily knocked that out in a week or less.

Unfortunately I have the time but not control of the TV so my game playing time has been limited. Whomever said marriage was a 50/50 proposition didn't know the half of it.

That said, my current games are:

Wii; Skyward Sword (only an hour or so into it :( )

PS3: Castlevania: Symphony of the Night

PC: Satazius and the Gundemonium Collection titles. I'm slowly going insane thanks to these.

See, this is why I'm sort of excited for the Wii U. I can sit on the couch next to my girlfriend, she can watch her crappy TV show and I can play a console video game.

Easy answer: get a second TV. :D

I run into a similar problem though when my wife and I both want to play the PS3 at the same time.

Heh, yeah well part of the issue is that she wants to stream Netflix. Our second TV has a Roku box on it but she prefers the couch. That's why I've been on the PC lately.

PC's what you should be playing anyway. ;)

I was under the impression that the WiiU's tablet was more of a supplement to the TV screen rather than a replacement for it.

Rusty Hearts and Killing Floor. Both fun mindless breaks from studying that don't take too long and play just fine on my laptop. Friend's 8800 graphics card showed up today, so I should be able to install Steam and start downloading games to my gaming PC. Here's hoping I pass my test this afternoon so I can look forward to gaming on my gaming PC!

At E3 they showed it being able to be used similar to a DS touch screen but also able to switch what's playing on the TV onto the tablet, then it's just a matter of changing the TV's source. That was my understanding at least.

Bouncing back and forth between games in small doses, and my gaming time is small doses inbetween family, work and studying. Pretty much every day this week I've played a bit of three or more of the following:

Rochard

L.A. Noire (w/ wife)

Rusty Hearts

Killing Floor

I'm also usually greeted at lunch (I go home for lunch most days) or getting home from work in the evening with my son asking me to help him with a part of LEGO Batman that he's stuck on.

It's an eclectic mix, but it's working.

I'm more open to PC gaming than I was even say 6 months ago (due to lack of TV time) but yet I still prefer the Wii out of all my current gen platforms and prefer lounging on a couch and most console games over their PC cousins. I do like the abundance of shmups on the PC lately but the vast majority of my PC game collection have been free or cheap via Indie bundles.

If I do more PC gaming, I am going to have to buy a new chair. The old rickety wooden chair I've been using is killing my back. :-/

I just dont get the hacking in Deus EX HR. I just dont. I feel retarded when I watch those tutorials. Good god.

Luckily I just found out you can break the doors down. I havent done it yet, but I hope its not too much of a hassle.

Oh dear. I know my copy of the game came with a pre-order bonus that included an automatic hacking device. (Never actually used it though. I was 'power-gaming' a lot of the time.)

It's probably DLC now so that's always an option. :P

You'll want the Explosive Mission Pack. Which also includes an extra mission that makes a scene before you get on the boat make sense. I've a feeling that since that pre-boat scene is kinda random that this extra mission was trimmed for DLC.

Or just kill everyone and that's bound to get you enough pocket secretaries to unlock most doors. Also each time you use a Nuke or Stop it gives you like 100xp or something, and you get enough in the game that they're worth just using instead of hoarding. Great way to quickly boost Praxis points. Even if I had the passcode I'd still do the hacking mini-game.

Still working my way through Skyrim. Clunky combat, stiff (or lack of) animations, and some pretty bad glitches haven't really ruined my enjoyment for this game! I am 76ish% to my goal of platinuming it, just need to finish the Thieves Guild (almost done!) and Companion Missions, then learn 3 more shouts, read about 12 more books, explore some more caves, and level up a bit more. I'm really curious to see what Bethesda is going to do with the expansion DLC packs. I'd love to go explore some more of Tamriel.

SR3 was probably my favorite game of 2011, with Deus Ex HR a close second. The sheer ridiculousness of the missions later in the game sold it to me for sure. When they give you the predator missile in the first mission and then you find out you're able to use it outside of that mission whenever you want I knew that it was a game for me.

The gimp mission was also one of the first missions in a long time where I was laughing so hard I had to pause the game to continue.
