TheMightyEthan
Batman Arkham City! Finally escaped from the life-consumer that is Skyrim.
deanb
I'm bouncing between Arkham and Steelport(Saints Row III) Both are certainly having their moments. So good to be back in the Arkham games, feel so gooood.

TheRevanchist
Just beat Portal 1, Skyward Sword, Mario Galaxy 1 and now I'm going to begin my first Fallout. Finally! Someone who is as far behind on their backlog as I am. Welcome, Point-3!
TheMightyEthan
Oh, I'm really far behind on my backlog too, it's just I'm choosing to play the newer entries. I still have The Witcher (the first one) on there.
TheRevanchist
That backlog is going to destroy me. I still have the first Dead Rising on my list.

deanb
I'm currently playing FFXIII with an eye in to complete it by the weekend. Unsure how much of a possibility that is (I'm off home on Friday evening for sisters 21st). I'm currently on Gran Pulse, I've done as many of the Ceith Stones as possible at the moment so heading off to Atmos and that Tower place (Then I'll be back to where I was on my first playthrough when I first bought it two years ago . Stupid university getting in the way of my game time )
TCP
I had originally planned on purchasing FFXIII again, this time on the PS3, to complete it before XIII-2 but then came Skyrim....... now I have no time. Currently, I am replaying Mass Effect 2, this time on PS3, in preperation for Mass Effect 3, which I am getting very excited for.
toxicitizen
Started playing Diablo 2 for the first time today. Man, I was not prepared for how addictive that damn game is! The "click-click-click-click-click" combat had always seemed kinda boring to me, so I didn't bother with it when it first came out. But I recently got quite curious about Diablo 3, so I decided to give D2 a shot to see whether or not D3 is for me. At first it was kind of okay. Came out of the starting camp and started killing shit and picking up gold. Meh. But the first time I ran into a large mob of 30 or so enemies, went "Oh shit!" as I started clicking like a mad man and quickly found myself surrounded by a few dozen corpses and piles of gold... I was almost laughing maniacally. The game had its hooks into me before I cleared the first dungeon. I finished Act 1 when I stopped playing earlier and I fully intend to clear Act 2 tomorrow
Strangelove
I got FF13-2 this morning and im actually loving it. Its much better than I expected. Im about 4 hours in and its definitely better than FF13.
TCP
Agreed! Outside of some Nintendo games, I can't remember the last time I had this much fun with a game. Edited February 1, 2012 by TheCowboyPoet
Little Pirate
I've had this game in my collection but never got around to playing it, so gonna pick that up today:
Luftwaffles
Started The Witcher 2 today. Wish me luck.
toxicitizen
Started Catherine today. So far I'm loving the hell out of it, but I fear it's not going to last me very long. I'm already on the 4th day after about 3h30mins of playtime :/ Also played Episode 5 of Alan Wake tonight. I'll very likely be playing the last one tomorrow night. TheMightyEthan
Gah, I thought Catherine was pretty badly done. I hated how nothing you do has any effect until the end cutscene. How the hell does that make any sense in a game that's supposed to be about Vincent's struggle? It made me mad at the game every time Vincent did anything when I wasn't in direct control because that wasn't the thing my Vincent would have done. Cyber Rat
Working my way through Skyrim's main quests. Finished the Imperial Legion quest line first. After that I'm done with that game, the choice is between Deus Ex HR, Shogun 2 and Arkham City.
deanb
Well I'm part way through FFXIII-2, and for non-console periods I'm also working on Bioshock 2. I'm not as good at it was I was in Bioshock 1. I burn through health quite a bit. I kinda miss my human weapons like the wrench. My current weapons are tied down by ammo needs and also feel somewhat clunky. The adam gathering is a tad tedious too, though somewhat cool too as well I guess. Also, the atmosphere is a lot like the Persona games, and that's exactly what I was hoping for (I wish they would just announce Persona 5 already ). I'm also really liking the puzzle/climbing gameplay a lot, even if it can be frustrating at times. I seriously wanted to kill that fucking baby. And I don't just meant the difficulty of that level, although that was also a part of it. No, the baby's actual voice and line delivery was just.... so goddamned irritating! It actually made me want to carve my own eyes out with a damn spoon! If a real baby is anywhere near that irritating, then I don't fucking want one because I think I would strangle it before it turned one! Little Pirate
Spent the last five hours straight hooked on Darkness. Pretty close to beating it. I'm definitely gonna put some extra hours in at work so I can afford the sequel.
Strangelove
The only game im playing is Super Mario 3D Land. This game frustrates me at times. I fucking HATE the levels that have a dark shadow Mario who follows you and mimics what you do. Those levels annoy the living shit out of me. Ugh. Ive turned off this game in frustration so many times that ive lost count. That being said, Im on special level 7, so im almost done. TheRevanchist
Playing Kirby Mass Attack. Way more fun than I thought it would be.
TheMightyEthan
Started Uncharted. It makes me think of Ico in that the climbing/exploration/puzzle-solving is fun but the combat is fucktardedly terrible.
