excel_excel
Properly started The Witcher 2 on PC, good it does look lovely. Can't play Xenoblade.....my Wii is going off to the Nintendo service centre Also playing Demon's Souls, Dark Souls gave me the itch to go back to it and finish it before the server is taken down since I have the US version. Strangelove
Been replaying ME3 on insanity as a vanguard......yeah, its broken. Under the right circumstances, you can kill pretty much everyone except Atlas' and Banshees with nothing but the biotic charge and nova. Despite the fact that it feels cheap, its a lot of fucking fun too.
Little Pirate
Decided to pick up Alice: Madness Returns again. I know there's really no replay value to it, but I love the visuals in this game.
Strangelove
That's an awesome game, I just hope you like platforming. Lots and lots of platforming. Id say about 75% of the game is platforming.

TheFlyingGerbil
I've just finished world one of Super Mario 3D Land. So far it has the feeling of a 2D Mario game, I guess because of the fixed perspective, but I'm really enjoying it.

TCP
I've been playing Arkham Asylum, (pretty much) for the first time. Holy crap, this might be the best Metroid game I've played since Prime. Arkham City had a bit of a Metroid feeling to it, but not like this.
TCP
Started playing Infamous again. Dinner With Sasha is still incredibly frustrating.

TCP
I haven't even got that far (though I heard it's bad). The fucking tunnel, man! The tunnel! I get part way through, and then some fuckers blow me up, so I have to start back at the beginning. BULLSHIT!
Faiblesse Des Sens
I don't remember that part being that bad until the "boss" portion of it. Then it was just a matter of figuring out the pattern and executing. *shrugs* Seems like any other boss battle ever.
madbassman39
Playing infamous for the first time, thank you Sony for the free game. I also bought sims 3 late night. So that too
TCP
Turns out the tunnel wasn't so bad after I upgraded Cole's abilities. Joy! And the boss fight wasn't bad at all. Now I can hover off the ground, sweeeet.
TheFlyingGerbil
I burned myself out on Sly Cooper so I've abandoned that for a bit (hopefully not forever like I normally do). I've gone back to Final Fantasy XIII after a very long break. I'm on Chapter 5 which was enough for me to not want to start over and while I have a vague recollection of the plot I can't remember what all the names refer to, pulse. cocoon etc and all the different sections of the armed forces. which doesn't bother me too much as I'm sure it will all make sense at some point. It's reminded me however of my problem with certain RPG elements though. I have a total fear of committing to an upgrade path. I can't help feel like the second I start upgrading a weapon I'll pick up a better one and will have wasted my limited upgrade materials on the one sat there in my inventory like an accusation. I don't really get the fighting either. I think it's because it's just too much for me to work out tactics for fighting, like what enemies are weak to certain types of attack, staggering and all the ailments and stuff so I just use autobattle and hope for the best. Calling up the oidin horse thing is the most confusing to me though. I had this awesome looking thing on screen and it did about as much damage as if the enemy had stubbed it's toe. I'd been playing for more than an hour before I remembered you could change over to medic and heal yourself, lol. I am enjoying it though. I just hope the fighting doesn't get to a stage where you have to actually know what you're doing to progress.
Strangelove
I just gave Dawn of Sorrow another run. It's been years since Ive played it and it's still awesome. Nostalgia is a hard thing to fight, but as much as I love SOTN, I think DoS is the best Castlevania game ever made.
Battra92
Lords of the Realm. Yep, I'm hooked on a PC game from 1994. Wow, the game is 18 years old now ... o_O I can hardly believe that! Still a huge time sink, though.

Mercurial
Started playing Infamous again. Dinner With Sasha is still incredibly frustrating. Don't remember it being that hard. Anyways I've been playing an ass load of EVE. Like 141 hours in 3 weeks .
Little Pirate
That feeling when you're getting the most kills, rescues, and medals during Mass Effect 3 multiplayer... You're getting so many credits and you are so close to getting that super expensive pack... and then suddenly a Banshee starts walking on air and you lose your game connection. Alex Heat
I'm more familiar than I'd like to be with that feeling.
TheMightyEthan
Yeah, making you lose all your stuff like that when they drop you is a terrible design decision. It also encourages people who have to leave for some reason to not log out and instead just idle through the rest of the match. Maybe there should be some kind of penalty for quitting/disconnecting early, but it should be more like a 25% reduction rather than losing all of it. Another stupid thing about it is that when someone quits the points they've gotten throughout the match vanish from the match, which means it ALSO reduces the score of their teammates. That's just completely fucking retarded.
Alex Heat
So I started Silent Hill Downpour the other day. I think I've played it for maybe five hours because I am being so deliberately slow and cautious as I keep psyching myself up for a scare that doesn't come. Little Pirate
I've really been wanting that game, is it good enough that it's worth paying a bit more or would you suggest I wait to until the price drops?
Alex Heat
I'd say it's worth full price, but if you've got the patience (or a backlog like I do), you could safely wait out a price drop. I only rented it since the local video place gave me a free rental coupon, but I intend to buy it once I get my funds back up.
