Mister Jack
Is there any noticeable upgrade between that and the old games? I like the old games but I dunno if I feel like going through the same thing a third time.
Strangelove
Anyone buy X-men from PSN or XBL yet? Let me know how it is. ive played it in thw arcade, but I wanna know if theres anything extra or different.
Mister Jack
Oh shit! *Rushes to 360* Edit: Ok, I think I might actually prefer the Japanese version (which is included) gameplay-wise, as it has item drops and you use mutant orbs before using life to use powers. By comparison, the US version was more obviously made to suck out the ol' quarters.
ADIRTYWINDOW
Persona 3 Portable. I just bought a PSP on Monday due to high praise I read about online. I've already put in 12 hrs in three days and enjoying every minute. Can anybody recommend and other good rpgs for the psp?
mintycrys
Currently working my way to 1000/1000 on Nier. Lost Odyssey's final cheevo is next, followed by a hesitant second runthrough of Eternal Sonata.
diedan
Mostly switching between lilt line and BIT.TRIP Fate at the moment. I've been in a bit of a gaming lapse. I was about 30ish hours into Persona 4 and then kind of just stopped despite having an immensely good time. So, I'm hoping after the holidays and once my personal life settles down, I can get back into that.
Commander Shepard
At the risk of being flamed, and because I got one of them for a gift this holiday season, both of these, at the same time. Disregarding the Multiplayer part of MW2, I am having fun in the part campaign where Russia invades the United States part. As for Mass Effect, nine billion playthrough, but the first time I actually made a Soldier class Shepard.

Chronixal
DoDonPachi Resurrection on iPhone. Doing a marathon run of all the modes. Can almost do a full run of arcade on normal without continuing.
D-K
Mickey Mania on Super Nintendo (rom) I forgot what a great soundtrack and art style this game has. Epic Mickey should have been a remake of this gem. Also, the Steamboat Willy tune? Hypnotic. I've been jumping on this musicnote vomitting goat for 10 minutes and it has yet to bore me. Masonvrocks
Currently playing Blops Multiplayer, waiting for BC2 vietnam to come out before I play more of that, P3P (Stuck halfway through January. So close but I need to do literally like 13 hours of grinding). Getting RDR and NV on tuesday so I'll be playing those as well. Oh and a little gt5 on the side. 13 hours of grinding? but...why. nyx was a pushover at 80ish, maybe half a challenge at 70's, i can't imagine how much easier it would be having full control over all the party members though My main party is like 78 right now...that's what I was saying, I had no idea what level I need to be and didn't want to be underleved. RadiantViper
I am currently playing Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising. It is causing ... mixed feelings. First mission, I thought the game was clunky and unpolished. Second through fifth missions, I start to get a better understanding of the game, and start having fun. Still seems rough around the edges (read: teammate AI bounces between excellent and ridiculously terrible), but overall a pretty good 'tactical shooter' feeling is prevalent. Sixth mission is a stealth mission. And I swear to god it's impossible to enter this fuel depot without being detected Starting to annoy me. RadiantViper
even with the massive backlog, blops multiplayer. haven't even touched campaign yet. I was playing the campaign at my friends and was having so much fun. I want Black Ops soooo much, but I am poor
staySICK
I originally wasn't going to get it until I was pressured into it from guys from work... and now they are hardly ever on it seems like. I've gotten up to 25 after a week largely playing with randoms.

Gyaruson
Currently going through my fifth or sixth play of Mass Effect 2. Also am working through Bayonetta for the first time. Work in some Fallout 3 and Rock Band 3 into the mix as well. Oh, and whatever I get for Christmas, for sure.
TheMightyEthan
Batman: Arkham Asylum. Played the demo back when it came out, and was not impressed, but then I bought it on a GFWL sale for $0.99 a couple weeks ago. The demo did not do the game justice. staySICK
Excellent game, Ethan. Really. It blew me away. The combat, the dective skills, the voices, everything. Wonderful. Just wish Harley was in her standard get up, not... that.
TheMightyEthan
I liked Harley's outfit... But then again, I don't read the comics.
StrifeROKs
It was so much better than I ever expected a Batman game to be.
c hoertjes
Because of seeing the movie True Grit tonight, I started up a new RDR playthrough. Love that game.
Strangelove
RDR is amazing. I cant believe it was made by the same people who made the awful GTA4. Im loving it. Also, the demo to Arkham Asylum turned me off the game too. I thought the demo was really bad. Im hesitating on gettng the actual game, but i still want to because of all the accolades its gotten. brida
Vincent, I'd caution against trying games simply for accolades and some such...I can't tell you how many times I've been duped into something because people said SO many good things about it and it got SUCH good reviews/awards, only to find out that it's not my cup of tea and that's why I needed to beconvinced to purchase it it in the first place. D-K
@SL: Same here, although I may just skip it and wait for Arkham City. The only thing I liked about the demo was the hand-to-hand. The Gargoyle-sitting was just crap, who the hell puts up gargoyles on the inside of a building anyway? Gargoyles go on the outside! Reich, you know what I'm talkin bout, right?
