Hot Heart
Fair enough, but the last DLC's tone is so incongruous (in the best possible way) with the main game that - assuming you play the last DLC after Priority: Horizon so that everyone shows up - I could see people getting mood whiplash going from one to the other. And I don't entirely hate the endings (with the EC, obviously) but the entire back-end of the game is mostly crap.
TheMightyEthan
I haven't played the last DLC yet so I can't comment on how it affects the tone. Maybe you'll be right and I won't like it. *Edit* - Also, the back-end of YOU is mostly crap. Hot Heart
*Edit* - Also, the back-end of YOU is mostly crap. It's not what it is underneath, but what it does that defines it. Seriously, though, if you do not like the Citadel DLC, you are dead to me! SERIOUSLY.
P4: Gritty Reboot
Now playing XCOM and it's crazy good. Bit.Trip Runner 2 is... okay. Still trying to finish up Serious Sam 3. And just got to level 12 in Borderlands 2 co-op with wifey. She's hooked.

Strangelove
The parry system in RGR is retarded. The fight music is also awful as fuck. I dont mind the music, but stop putting lyrics into the songs, Japan. You ALWAYS do this! And Sonic Generations didnt need songs with lyrics either, dickwads. LET'S FIGHTING LOVE!!!!!!! P4: Gritty Reboot
That's a shame to hear about Runner 2 being a bit of a let down. I'm not sure what it is yet and I'm just finishing the second world. New mechanics introduced at every turn, loading screens and numbers and flashy crap, busier graphics, bad controller support... the first game was such an elegant little thing and this feels like Bit.Trip Runner Turbo DX HD Remix Edition in comparison. I don't know. There's still fun to be had there though.

Follow me, set me free, trust me and we will escape from the city. Best. Song. Ever. I generally agree that game music doesn't need lyrics, but Sonic games are an exception (as are sport and racing games).

CorgiShinobi
Pffffffffffffffffffffffffffffft.... Parrying system in Rising isn't bad and Sonic games NEED lyrics. Thunder, rain, and lightning. Danger, water rising. Clamour, sirens wailing... IT'S SUCH A BAD SIGN!

Hot Heart
Started playing Tomb Raider. Really liking it so far. Definitely feels like Tomb Raider has been given the 'Arkham Asylum treatment'. The cover system is phenomenal; plus, it's funny because I think the last third-person action game I played was Spec Ops (let's compare and contrast!) Just did a bit where I got to let loose with a rifle where things were slow-mo at first. Boy, was that a lot of fun. The QTEs can be a bit annoying (so far I've been crushed and strangled ), but I think it's the 'wait for the prompt' one that always gets me. Though I think I've worked that one out: it's always Y. Always. Oh, also, no one's calling her 'Laura', WalDORK and TWATLer (yeah, you heard me!). There's a Scottish guy who may sound like he's saying that, and an American can't help but sound like they're saying that. Little Pirate
Just finished episode 3 of the Walking Dead game. I really really enjoy the story of this game, and how much it draws you into the characters. When I first played this I wasn't quite expecting a 'Choose Your Own Adventure' style to it, which was probably why I put it off for a little while. But when I actually took the time to go through and play through the first episode I was pretty hooked. It is rather intriguing to see how the choices you make effect other characters, and your group as a whole. If you're looking for a good story-telling game, I would rank this right up there with Alan Wake. It's really worth a try. Clementine has also become my favorite character. And my favorite child in any game. (You have a choice in the first episode to say the barn smells like either manure or shit. In episode 2...) So far the extreme choices I have made thus far have been: -In episode 1, I saved Carley. My main reasoning being that Carley has a gun and knows how to use it. -In episode 2, I chose to ditch Lily. I tried to sympathize with her a little at first, seeing as how she was trying to be the one to make all the tough decisions, but the minute she lost her marbles and shot Carley in the face, I decided that bitch was walker food. Her dad being a total ass didn't really help her much, really. I've been mainly siding with Kenny throughout the episodes. He has his ass moments too, but he is far more likable than any other adult characters I've come across aside from Carley. I was also smart enough to inform Kenny that I was a murderer. I did not tell Clementine. -In episode 3... I shot duck. So far that was probably the hardest choice I've had to make for any episode. I saved the man at the end, too, but I have no idea how I feel about it since the people at the end just kind of showed up.

Strangelove
Sonic Generations on the 3DS....it's ok. About as good as the Sonic Rush games. I wish it was closer to Generations. I also managed to beat it in about 3 hours or so. Short game.
Saturnine Tenshi
The Knife of Dunwall DLC for Dishonored and Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory.
TheMightyEthan
I bought that the Knife of Dunwall and was going to start it today (having finished Bioshock 1 last night) but decided I should probably dive into Bioshock 2 while I still have the desire to play it, otherwise I'll probably never go back and it will sit in my backlog forever. toxicitizen
Tried to start Knife of Dunwall the other night, but as soon as I started the first mission I quickly remembered how Dishonored was and how much fun I had taking my time to explore and remain undetected. So I decided that right now I don't really have enough free time to properly enjoy it. Once finals are over in a few weeks, I'll give it the time it deserves. It took me almost a month to play through Dishonored for the same reason, and I feel like my enjoyment of the game suffered a bit from being stretched over such a long period of time. So instead, i've been playing Trials Evolution Gold whenever I have some free time. Goddamn that game is fantastic. I'm starting to run into some seriously difficult tracks but it's just so insanely fun. I'm usually wary of paying upwards of 10$ for smaller games like this, I'll only occasionally take the plunge on a 15$ title. But this one was worth every cent of the 20$ I paid for it. TCP
Tried playing 3D Dot Game Heroes again this weekend. I love Zelda, the art style, the retro humour, but I just don't find this game that fun. Maybe I'll just wait for the Oracle Zelda games next month on 3DS if I want classic 2D Zelda gameplay :-\
Waldorf and Statler
@FLD: the game is fun, at least single player wise, until you reach the later tracks. The tracks that are like entirely slow acrobatics. And I wish the gold medal in that game gave you some leeway with later tracks. I mean there's that track that is basically like a 7+ minute track if you don't fuck up once. But let's be honest I fucked up so many times I was basically playing that track for 30+ minutes trying to get gold until I gave up. I always reached the end and then fucked up in some stupid manner
