Waldorf and Statler
I can't tell if that's you making a "it's regular history" joke or a "there are infinite possibilities to history why stop at one".
TheMightyEthan
I think he's saying the regular Assassin's Creed storylines are already alternate history, this is just extra alternate.
Waldorf and Statler
I feel very derp.
toxicitizen
Started playing Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon. Not very far into it but so far it is glorious. You know you're in for something truly special when the first mission has an NPC hacking something and saying amazing lines such as:"I recoded the CPU socket!" and "Recompiling the motherboard!" Mister Jack
I bought Blood Dragon on steam but I can't play it offline thanks to Uplay. I have no idea when I'll have my cable back up. Man I want to play it so bad.
TheMightyEthan
Isn't Uplay stuff just supposed to be a one-time activation now?
Mister Jack
I can't activate it either way until I get my connection back.
TheMightyEthan
How did you buy it/download it on Steam then?
Mister Jack
My friend came over and while he was here he let me use his cell phone as a mobile broadband access point. I didn't have time to start it up afterwards. We had to leave to make it to see Iron Man. Edited May 3, 2013 by Mister Jack
Mister Jack
Thanks to my cable being out I had to jump through some serious hoops to set it up but I finally got Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon going. I think this might be my favorite dlc/expansion since Undead Nightmare.
TheMightyEthan
While I'm totally of the opinion that RDR was one of the greatest games ever made, Undead Nightmare didn't really do it for me. I liked it because it was a chance to play more RDR, but it wasn't really anything special imo.
toxicitizen
Yeah, I can't really explain it but I started playing UN after finishing RDR and I just kinda stopped after an hour or two and never picked it up again. That was about two years ago, I think. I was actually thinking of giving it another shot this summer. Haven't bought a new PS3 game in a while so I feel like I could get through that backlog once and for all if I put my mind to it.
TheMightyEthan
I started playing Tomb Raider today. Really liking it so far, but I wish the camera didn't shake so much while you're running around, it's kind of giving me (extremely mild) motion sickness, and even Mirror's Edge didn't do that. TheMightyEthan
Well I alt-tabbed from the game to make that post and when I tried to click back over it bluescreened, so that's nice. I was alt-tabbing a ton earlier and didn't have any problems.
Saturnine Tenshi
How does the game work insofar as level design? From what I've been reading, it strikes me as open world-ish.
TheMightyEthan
It's kind of similar to Arkham Asylum, with distinct areas but being semi-open-world.
Mister Jack
Sleeping Dogs. I got it free from PS Plus but it's so fun I might actually buy some dlc.
Strangelove
Im not sure what it is, but Borderlands 2 is a million times better than Borderlands 1. I played it for about 3 hours straight today. I dropped Borderlands 1 after about 45 minutes. Edited May 8, 2013 by Strangelove
Hot Heart
It's better is why. I still think the first 'section' is too long though. In personal news, I gave Warface a go. It seems pretty fun, nice feel to it, and a cool aesthetic going on. Only done some pretty basic missions, so I assume it gets hectic and harder later on. I just need to figure how to do anything in the confusing-ass menus except change the colours on my weapons.
TheFlyingGerbil
I'm playing gravity rush at the moment. I'm enjoying it but I think it will take me a while to get a hang of the gravity shifting - I've ended up getting a bit confused as to where I'm headed sometimes. TheMightyEthan
Started playing Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Haven't gotten far enough to have any thoughts yet (had to save and quit mid tutorial), other than the abruptness of the switch from 3rd person to 1st person when leaving cover is very disorienting. A zoom effect would have been much better.
Faiblesse Des Sens
You get used to it.
Mister Jack
Okay Demon's Souls you son of a bitch. I'm back for round 2. You won't beat me this time.

deanb
Dishonoured on PC. Pretty neat game. Sort of hub-level like structure of Deus Ex HR. Small opeb-world areas. Nice to have. Nice little side stories. I take it my rescuers are also as bad as the guys I'm sent to deal with. Especially the guy that looks like Hugo Weaving since he shows up twice in my dream . Carmageddon on phone. Pretty good port. Lot's of quirks of being an older game that somewhat drag it down though. (But I feel some of the issues like lack of map, spinny camera and aggressive AI aren't issues that affected all games of the era).
