SkyGriever
On sale with Civ 4 Complete for $20. Never played these... which one would be better recommended for a newbie?

TCP
Lately, I've been wanting to play some Fallout but the DLC for New Vegas is still all 10 bones a pop on PSN, this was 20 for all plus the game, so I can trade in my original copy when I pick up The Last of Us, which I preordered. TheMightyEthan
Just preordered on GMG, 25% off (on top of the 10% off it was already listed for) with this code: GMG25-GDSAK-7FPWQ

TheMightyEthan
I'm really debating that one right now. I'm thinking $15 is still too much, and it will probably be less during the summer sale.
deanb
Unless it's a daily deal I can't see it being must less. It is improving quite a few leaps and bounds to justify it's bumped up price.
Luftwaffles
It's also part of Steam's early access thing, and those games don't seem to get cheap very often.
Popular Post TCP
The guy who sold it to me at EB Games was dressed up as Joel. I was confused because it was basically just a plaid shirt and scratches on his face, at first I thought he had fallen on concrete, till I noticed the fake beard.

CorgiShinobi
Gawd, I can't believe I'm jealous. Almost everyone I know is going to be immersed in the game, and here I am having to wait for a phone call Monday morning to say, "Yes, I live on the planet Earth." At least I can play a bit more of Tomb Raider before I basically ignore it forever, and I do technically work all day tomorrow too. I just want you guys to enjoy the hell out of the game. Alex Heat
Hey, I'm with you! I have to wait for Monday or Tuesday before my copy gets to me.

TheRevanchist
Minecraft for the 360. Mainly, it keeps my son off my Kindle, especially since my 360 has been so unused for some time. And I now have a use for that old tv, too.
CorgiShinobi
I owe GameStop and the person who pre-ordered, but never claimed. Yeah, it's not my Survival Edition that I pre-ordered months ago, but it's still the core game. For an extra $20, those bonuses looked amazing, but I highly doubt Amazon really could have replaced the game. Well, I'm told that certain facilities might keep a few extra copies held in case of accidents, but I honestly couldn't wait another week to have this game. I've already waited too damn long for everyone involved to tell me more excuses. Speaking of, I heard a third story as to why I never got my package, so here's everything I was told: 1. Couldn't find address, had to return to sender. (That's a load because there wasn't even an attempt to deliver.) 2. There needed to be a replacement. (Subtle way of saying it was damaged.) 3. The sender requested the package sent back. (I called Amazon, twice, and was never told by them they requested it back.) I went to UPS Customer Center today and that's what I was told. I didn't want to make a scene, but at the same time I wanted to clearly tell the gentleman what has been going on the last five days. He simply seemed adament about telling me they didn't do anything wrong. I wanted to at least make sure all the drivers knew the address because I had originally been told that was the issue. TL;DR: First World Problem of the Year for the PS3 Game of the Year.
TheMightyEthan
Man, after an experience like that I'd be using FedEx whenever possible.
CorgiShinobi
If you ever get Saturday delivery on Amazon, it's through FedEX. Of course that's $8.99, but for holidays it's worth it. Otherwise, the Prime Free Two-Day Shipping is always through UPS. I've never had a problem until now. I feel like my local UPS facility handles boxes better, and honestly I've always been fearfully of games/movies in padded envelopes being handled by UPS. Sometimes I'll catch the delivery driver pulling up, and he'll basically dropped the package at the door. Makes me wish there were more Amazon lockers (whatever they're called) around. All I know is that when you have the option, on a Thursday or Friday, you'll get a Saturday delivery option that costs $8.99. The two times I've used it, FedEx delivered the package. Also, where I work, the rates for shipping with FedEx on a Saturday are insane, but I also tell the customers that the truck doesn't even come by the store on Saturday. EDIT: Oh, and Alex, I'm glad you'll get to play Anarchy Reigns... but half of the fun was the online multiplayer. After one month, it was hard to find online matches. This is still a great game, and the series doesn't change so much that you should feel bad about missing out. I just know you'll enjoy it
