NeoStarr
Finally compiled a full list of what I got during Steam Sale. That was a pretty good one. toxicitizen
While I was aware of the game and what it was, it wasn't really on my radar during the Steam sale. But once the sale ended, I came across some video from Northernlion's youtube channel and ended up watching a bit of his series on this and Spelunky. Thought it looked fucking amazing and suddenly I had to buy it. And before you ask FDS, yes, I got it from the Humble Store. Heard a funny thing about that, actually. Couldn't find a source when I looked on his website and twitter, but apparently during the summer sale Tom Francis asked people to stop buying Gunpoint directly from him and to buy it from Steam instead. Something about putting it in the top sellers ultimately being more beneficial to him. Obviously no longer an issue since the sale's over, but I thought it was kind of interesting considering the amount of Humble Store pimping that went on during the sale (and I don't just mean here). Faiblesse Des Sens
but apparently during the summer sale Tom Francis asked people to stop buying Gunpoint directly from him and to buy it from Steam instead. Nope, it was when the game was first released (a few weeks before the sale), and he quickly shot to the top of the charts. He profited on the game in an hour or some crazy shit. toxicitizen
Ah, that explains why I couldn't find it then. I only looked as far back as the beginning of the summer sale. Oh well, nevermind then.
Hot Heart
Pre-orders. £41 for the pair. Thanks to Savygamer. (the e-coupon there is actually for £5 off when you spend over £35 on pre-orders, so you don't have to buy those exact games. Plus, Tesco prices tend to be pretty good anyway)
TheMightyEthan
Just bought this on GMG, getting a $12 credit out of the deal. I'll probably end up using that on the Bioshock Infinite season pass, but since the Rapture DLC isn't out yet I'm going to wait and see if I can combine it with a % off voucher. Hot Heart
Dude, did you just reuse my image link? Ethan, you're a shit mod.
toxicitizen
I'm going to wait and see if I can combine it with a % off voucher. Unfortunately, I don't think you can do that anymore. At least, the last few times I tried, I got a "you have no compatible product this voucher can be used on" kinda message.
Mister Jack
I bought LA Noire again for ten bucks. I dunno why, but I just feel like solving some mysteries as a hard boiled detective. Just as well. I own the season pass from the first time I had it and I never played those cases.
danielpholt
£3 on the Blockbuster.co.uk website. I've heard some good things about this; and at £3 including delivery, i'm willing to take the gamble.
Faiblesse Des Sens
I loved Vanquish. Good buy.
CorgiShinobi
I feel like a lot of us here tried Vanquish later in its shelf life and have loved it. Word to the wise, if you're going for difficulty trophies, chapter select will cancel the criteria for unlocking it.
TCP
I was about to critisize you for not just DLing it on PS+ but maybe it didn't come to EU? You get off easy this time, Dan... this time...
CorgiShinobi
I think it came to EU before North America. It could have expired by now, but honestly it's a great game to own and not have tied down by PS+.
danielpholt
I was about to critisize you for not just DLing it on PS+ but maybe it didn't come to EU? You get off easy this time, Dan... this time... I believe it was on PS+ in August last year; but i only recently got the PS3 so i missed it. Also, its only £3. TheMightyEthan
Currently $3.74.
Strangelove
It was $20 on Amazon, so I bought it just for the Vita download. Will probably never touch the PS3 disc. And yeah, we'll probably get this for free on PS+ in a few weeks or months, but fuck it. Im not going to get scared of buying every single PS Exclusive because it could potentially be free someday. Thats lame. Sonic on my Kindle is awesome. This version is amazing. Id rebuy it on Vita or 3DS instantly.

TheMightyEthan
Sonic on my Kindle is awesome. How well does that work with touch controls?
Strangelove
Almost perfectly. I guess its due to the simplicity of it all. Its not like trying to play San Andreas or anything.
TheMightyEthan
Interesting, I would have expected control lag or something to make it unplayable. Not necessarily because it's too complicated, but because those games require such precision.
TheMightyEthan
August's GMG deal is 20% off, so I used that plus my $12 credit from preordering Arkham Origins, so this only cost me $4 out of pocket. I have no interest in the challenge DLC, but I definitely do in the Rapture DLC.
Mr. GOH!
The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing. So sue me, I wanna play another Diablo clone with loot and killing waves of baddies.
Mal
I had $3 in credit and used the 20% to make it $13. I'm happy.
Faiblesse Des Sens
That's less than the cost of one of the story DLCs! Good work.
