deanb
They're £3.75 each on Steam. It's subpar to the first but I guess worth it at that price.
CorgiShinobi
They're £3.75 each on Steam. It's subpar to the first but I guess worth it at that price. I would say the gameplay in BioShock 2 is what kept me playing, whereas the first BioShock had the story keeping me hooked. Having all your abilities present really made a difference. I said it before in the actual BioShock thread, but the weapon-plasmid swapping of the first game was really clunky. I unintentionally used weapons for a majority of the game, and plasmids were suppose to be the benefit of BioShock!
toxicitizen
Yesterday Enjoyed the demo so I gave it a shot Today Since I enjoyed Toki Tori, I gave the dev's other game a shot Also I've been waiting for a while for the DLC to get down to a reasonable price. So now I cam finally go continue the second run I stopped last summer when my sniper reached the level cap!
Thorgi Duke of Frisbee
Bought Resident Evil 5 on 360. Heard it was pretty rad.
Strangelove
I bought Enslaved a few weeks ago when it hit 12.99 for the used copy at GS. I also had a 5 dollar coupon from the powerup rewards thing, plus the 10% I get off. It was about 7 or 8 bucks. Its actually a pretty good game. I love Trip for some reason. Reminds me of a girl I used to know, i guess. Since im transferring to another store that is in dire need of cafe staff, ill probably get tons of hours. Ill finally get Killzone 3 and Mass Effect 2. Probably even Move if things go smoothly there.
Toshi
Since Dean talked about Magicka in steam chat and I looked into it, I bought the bundle since it was on sale. Idk when I'll have time to play though

TheMightyEthan
Great, great game. I think that is by far the highest praise I've ever seen anyone give Enslaved. I liked it, but didn't think it was just amazing. Worth the $30 I paid for it.
P4: Gritty Reboot
Convinced the wife to play Portal 2 with me. We'll be getting the $80 2-pack (including copies of the original Portal) on Friday.

BrainHurtBoy...2
I bought Portal 2 from Steam. I also bought from a local import/indie store: DJ Max Portable 2 Baten Kaitos Origins Advance Wars: Days of Ruin Very excited to jump into all those. Loved the original Baten Kaitos, so that especially.
TheFlyingGerbil
After some slight confusion about the new starter package I now have PlayStation Move (with the starter disc) after my £5.01 voucher I only spent £25 on it which is the price of the Eye on its own so a bit of a bargain since the bundle is normally £45/£50. Best of all, since I've used my voucher I never have to set foot in a a GAME store again (though the manager was totally hot!)
deanb
It's the same price in-store as online?
TheFlyingGerbil
Yeah, its £29.98 in store for the blue box version (which is the best version). You can only use the vouchers in store that's why I went in. I really think the plastic vouchers with magnetic strips should be usable online as the value is held on a server, not on the card itself. PRetty annoying (though it's the same with all stores not just GAME)
deanb
Hmm.... Tempted to just go into town now and pick one up..
TheFlyingGerbil
You should - you won't see it that price again - the white boxes are £50 and that will be the standard so unless you see it bundled with a game for a bargain price (eg when they start reducing the bundled-with-heroes packs) you won't see it for £30 again. deanb
£47 just netted me a Move Started bundle and a Nav Controller (our GAME's staff is cute too) And now to go onto GAME.co.uk and buy Zumba Fitness for my mum. ("cud u look on one of your many game websites n c if wii do zumba dance"). It's £15 on line, but I thought I'd pop to the store n see how much it is in-store then my sis can drop it off on Tuesday. £25 in store. Once again people: And they wonder why GAME is collapsing. toxicitizen
Forgot to post them at the time, but I got these a few days ago during the 2K sale on Steam.
deanb
£14 from Zavvi. Gonna be good summer.
TheMightyEthan
$9.99 on Steam sale. Even though I've already played the shit out of all of those games on 360. Why must you do this to me, Steam?
TheFlyingGerbil
That reminds me, I want to get the rest of the Heavy Rain trophies now I have my Move. Just got a wireless xbox controller bundled with Pure and Lego Batman for £23.99. Not bad since I should actually enjoy both those games. Yikes - looking for photos of it it's £73 at HMV! Edit: The photo isn't accurate as both games share one box. Edited April 17, 2011 by TheFlyingGerbil
deanb
To get Heavy Rain for move is it just an update like with Eyepet or is it a separate edition? I don't much care for how I play it but it'd be a nice addition to the package.
TheMightyEthan
I believe that Heavy Rain for Move is just an update, but I'm not 100% on that.
