deanb
Valkyria Chronicles. Used that voucher I won. I heard it's meant to be one of the top games on PS3.
Yantelope
Valkyria Chronicles reminds me a little of Advance Wars in that it's way too hard (cheap) if you don't know what's coming in the level and way too easy once you do. I still haven't finished that game.
WTF
That's excellent dean. VC for the PS3 and VC3 for the PSP are the best games in the series. Honestly if you like Fire Emblem and to a lesser extent advance wars you should be at home with this game. Ok Time for a big purchase post covering the last 30 days roughly Nintendo 3DS SSF4 Ocarina of Time Xenoblade Chronicles 360 - PS3 Catherine: Love is Over edition (that's what I think it's called) Streetfighter 3: third strike online Bloodrayne Deathspank: The Baconing (I really need to know if renegade ops is any good before I buy it just to get the heist for free which I'd prefer on steam anyway) Stacking DLC 640GB HDD EA Sports Active 2 (for the wife) PC Cursed Mountain Bulletstorm (Origin had it for £9.99 one day) Dungeons of Dreadmore From Dust Bastion Getting Avadon today Icewind dale 2 Master of Orion 1-3 New Vegas Old World Blues DLC Morrowind GOTY (Mine's in another country at the moment) HIBundle 3 Jericho Runaway, A Road Adventure Europa Universalis 3: Divine Wind Deus Ex: Human Revolution Augmented Edition(Paid for should get it within 5 days) [Will see if I get the collector's ed, right now. Nope] PSP Dissidia Duodecim 012 September is going to be a big month as well. Edit: Crap I forgot about Heroes Chronicles, Heroes 2, Dark Reign amongst a few things I bought from GoG. Man I really want to live for a 1000 years and have extra time plus a cave and electricity and devices if I seek to finish everything. Also rebuying digital shit in a sense is nice so now I know I have them all installed on my drives. Edited August 18, 2011 by WTF
Johnny
I... uh... Man, WTF, do I dare ask what that cost you?
WTF
uh. well some of them were cheap like dissidia and ea sports active were both around £7 each. I know I've got to watch this but gah when you have two gamers in the house things get expensive. It came to about £400-500 in total I think. The 3DS plus 2 games were my wife's idea of an impulse shopping though currently we're sharing it as there's not enough games to validate 2 machines. If not for that I'd have just overstepped my budget by about £70. Catherine was bought as a birthday gift for my wife so it doesn't really count (though the game is a bit too hard for her making me the one who plays it). Xenoblade was a gift. .... FUCK! Got into an extra spot of cash this month so this is what happens. I'm not even talking about the other expenses or the nights out we've had. Summer always leads to expenses just like Christmas and this on a year I didn't take a vacation. lol p.s upvoted you just for the reality check. Hot Heart
I don't know how to follow WTF so I will just say... I pre-ordered Deus Ex: HR for PC But I was considering pre-ordering TWO other games. Figured I'd wait until I got the reward points for those, so I can save a bit of money as I go (I know, I know, I'm ashamed!)
deanb
Just got DOWII Retribution. DOW sale on, they're all good games, worth grabbing.
Strangelove
Got it off Ebay a few days ago and it just got here. Looks brand new and came with the box and everything else, plus a case. Fuck the haters, the system is sexy as hell.
excel_excel
My girl got my a 3DS and Ghost Recon which came free with it (it was a choice between all of the Ubisoft games that were free with it) I wanted the blue 3DS just because I like the different colour's around the seperate screens. So I had the last blue one reserved in HMV. My girlfriend was asked by a parent and her son if they could have the blue one, she said "I've got my own boy who wants the blue one!
excel_excel
Bought it new €40 in Gamestop today. Games TM and Eurogamer reviews solidified my decision to buy it. First game I've bought new at launch in quite a while
Saturnine Tenshi
One of the few games I wanted to keep my Wii for. Of course, there's no mention of it being release in North American anyway. The cunts.
VicariousShaner
Watched this being played on EVO, and a few people I know had it so I ordered it from Amazon a few days ago.

P4: Gritty Reboot
Haven't bought anything since the Humble Bundle, but Deus Ex is looking mighty tempting.
Luftwaffles
Should get the paycheck tomorrow and will probably be buying Deus Ex and Dawn of War II (provided the sale is still happening) soon after that. Eventually I'll probably go for Red Orchestra 2 and Bastion since my interest in Battlefield 3 and From Dust seems to have subsided sufficiently. Same boat! Depending on if I'm in a FPS mood or not I'll get RO2 on launch but I'm waiting for a sale on Bastion.
Hocking
Pre-ordered Deus Ex: Human Revolution Augmented Edition at HMV. I had been having real trouble trying to decide where to buy it, but I received an e-mail about points from two years back expiring on my loyalty card at HMV. Spent the points that were due to expire on £20 store credit, so I'll only end up paying £10-15 for it which is quite nice.

Saturnine Tenshi
Two copies of Red Orchestra 2 from Green Man Gaming. After the 20% voucher, $2.50 credit from an aborted ArmA II promotion, and the trade-in of Sniper:Ghost Warrior(whose progenitor was also abortion), each copy was $22.76 USD.
