Saturnine Tenshi
Grabbed Malicious from the Japanese PSN for 800 yen... then used the remaining 200 yen to purchase a dynamic Hyperdimension Neptunia theme. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mLulvGK4nAc&feature=player_embedded

toxicitizen
My financial aid for the semester finally arrived, so yeah, I think you all know what that means All that's left to see is whether or not I can finish it before the semester starts (the day after tomorrow). Quickly now, Steam! Download like you've never downloaded before! Edited August 30, 2011 by FLD

toxicitizen
Doesn't mean I have to rush through! If I play 10 hours today, and then 10 hours tomorrow... That's healthy... right?
Yantelope
Just like my wife to go and get all pregnant and be throwing up all the time so that I'm busy caring for her, taking her to the doctor and watching my daughter and caring for her so that I can't play Deus Ex. She is so selfish.

She is so selfish. I'd normally congratulate you but after seeing some horribly behaved kids in Staples playing tag yesterday ... :-P Oh and here's the answer to your trouble: Yes, I'm kidding. Seriously, congrats!
Yantelope
It's hard to drug her. She keeps throwing it all up. and thanks, we're excited. If it's a boy we'll have to name him Tarin since my daughter is named Marin.
Battra92
My very bad taste joke was in relation to bad parents who would give their kids Dimetapp to put them to sleep so they wouldn't have to deal with them. Yantelope
Oh, I thought you wanted me to drug my wife. Ironically after all that the doctor told her to take unisom so now I've got the medical community in cahoots with me. Woot. I am really tempted to order that Zelda collection..... Thursday Next
Got me some Deus Ex also. After doing the first proper mission I then went back through all the doors, vents and what not that I missed the first time through... I missed a lot of stuff. First mission spoiler follows: I didn't even think to look upstairs for the 5 or so people who were being gassed. I just stealthed my way right to the bad man at the end. Went back to find an office full of dead civilians and thought "Ooops!"

I didn't realize it was a side quest until they told me "the hostages died" and I got an X on my mission statement. I reloaded and went back and saved them. It was really funny too because I hacked the bomb with like .01 seconds left and I looked at my friend, a bit freaked out and said "I guess it doesn't just happen like that in the movies". It blew up in my face the first time because I wasted time imputting a code I'd read about. I guess that code was to arm the bomb because it sure as shit didn't disarm it! Hot Heart
Yeah, I left the group hostages because I was already having a hard enough time sneaking about. Plus, I don't think the game marks that on your map or it isn't automatically active or whatever. I was still finding my feet at that point... On the plus side, I did save the hostage that Sanders took. He got away but later rewarded me with some handy passcodes.

deanb
Skyrim and Batman Arkham City on PC. £20.45 each. (the pre-order deal is in the Game Deals thread if any UK folk want to use it. Works for console games too.)

Unfortunately, I'd already spent an extra few hours backtracking through the level to make sure I got everything and hacked every computer. No way was I reloading that. 「Advent Chaos」
4 years late to the party. Also feel free to kill me buuuuut this would actually be my first LoZ. I have only seen other friends play and read up on the stories, I only played bits and pieces of Link to the Past though.
Yantelope
I wonder if Zelda games are as good to newcomers as they are to fans. Let us know how you like it.
Hot Heart
Unfortunately, I'd already spent an extra few hours backtracking through the level to make sure I got everything and hacked every computer. No way was I reloading that. Ha. I'd noticed the little red cross come up to say I hadn't saved the hostages but I was just, like, "No way I am redoing all that sneaking and talking..." Then I hacked all their computers and read their correspondence with one another and felt a bit guilty.

My sister's first Zelda game was Wind Waker. She's been a fan ever since. She bought the Skyward Sword bundle as well.
