TCP
I have more games than I will ever be able to play, and yet I CAN'T STOP BUYING THEM! Same here, and yet, I'll often have a lazy Sunday afternoon and can't find anything I want to play.
toxicitizen
Bought these yesterday. Split/Second is only 10$ for PS+ subscribers. I hesitated for a few days considering I very recently bought both NFS Hot Pursuit and NFS Shift. But I've wanted it for a long time now and figured it's unlikely I'm ever going to find it for less than that on PS3. Actually, now that I think about it, Split Second is the reason for my current interest in racing games. When the demo first came out, well, I don't think I've ever played and replayed any other game demo that many times, which was kinda weird considering at the time I wasn't into racing games at all. There was just something about the game's insane, Michael Bay-esque action style that resonated with me. Was broke at the time, though. And whenever I checked afterwards, I never felt the price had dropped enough. Until now! Edited December 2, 2011 by FLD
P4: Gritty Reboot
I found out about the Q takedown key about 2/3 of the way through my playthrough. "That's the game's fault for not making it obvious." It's pops up on screen every time you approach an enemy. How much more obvious could it be? And how could you miss that, P4? I think I turned off all prompts early on in the game because it made it broke a lot of the role-play illusion. Haha, that would explain it I guess! Also picked up the Terraria 4-pack to join in on the party like all you cool kids.

toxicitizen
10$ on PSN. I used to own a physical copy, but I sold it last year when I needed some cash to get L.A. Noire. I always meant to get it back and 10$ seemed like the right price. I sure as hell hope my save file from the physical version will be compatible with it because I got something like 70+ hours invested in it. P4: Gritty Reboot
First two were part of Toys R Us buy one get one 50% off sale, $90 total wasn't too bad. What IS too bad is that it's a Christmas present from my wife so I can't play either one until the 25th. Minecraft Pocket Edition is just 10 cents today so I sprang for it. P4: Gritty Reboot
If anyone's on the fence about Minecraft Pocket, bear in mind it's just constructing right now and features no mobs or crafting. However, it's usually $7 and will eventually look a lot more like the PC version, so better to lock in now at 10 cents I'd say. http://mojang.com/2011/12/05/the-plan-for-minecraft-pocket-edition/
TheFlyingGerbil
I hadn't planned to get them yet, but if you register 2 3DS games by the end of January Nintendo will give you 3D classics Kid Icarus for free! Just have to hope no one gets me them for Christmas now.
Luftwaffles
Me too. Me three. Feels dumb to let it pass by at 10 cents.
Strangelove
Well, Tomb Raider Underworld, and all 3 PS1 Spyro games are free with PS+. Penny Arcade Adventures 1 and 2 are 3 dollars for both. Anyone know if theyre worth that? I used to hate PA, but ive warmed up to it. So hows the actual game? toxicitizen
A friend of mine played them and says they're good. I bought them and am also downloading all that you've listed. (God I love PS+!) I remember trying a demo a long time ago and the setting seemed pretty cool as well. I figure Tycho's writing alone should provide some entertainment, at the very least. I probably wouldn't have bought it if it wasn't for Zeboyd resurrecting Episode 3, though. Edited December 7, 2011 by FLD
Hot Heart
Grabbed the Skins Pack for Arkham City. Considering how much cheaper the PC version is, and that it was £3.25 for all of them, I am cool with that. Plus, the patch released today and has certainly improved performance. TheMightyEthan
I bought it through Origin, which it appears doesn't auto-update games, so how do I get the patch? *Edit* - Also, sadly I think the only one of those skins I might want to use would be the Batman Beyond one. The TAS one is awesome but doesn't go with the aesthetic of the world at all. Edited December 7, 2011 by TheMightyEthan
Battra92
Just have to hope no one gets me them for Christmas now. Just tell them how much you love the game and then return it. Bring up how much you love Super Mario 3D Land or Mario Kart and show them your mad skillz playing it. They won't be any the wiser if you play your cards right.
P4: Gritty Reboot
Batman Beyond was the balls.
TheMightyEthan
Is that a good thing or a bad thing?
P4: Gritty Reboot
A very good thing. I think "the balls" is good whereas simply "balls" is bad.
deanb
Example of the positive "the": Batman Beyond was the shit Batman Forever was shit Also fuck aesthetics, play as TAS batman.
Hot Heart
The only skins I'm not really a fan of are the Sinestro Corps. one and the DKR one (the latter purely for aesthetic reasons). Really digging some of the others, and they should make all the challenges and New Game Plus a little more interesting.
Strangelove
I liked Batman Beyond a lot, but I always felt uneasy about it because I felt it was a ripoff of Spiderman. That doesnt bother me at all because its really well done, it just bothers me that no one recognizes it as such.
P4: Gritty Reboot
I don't know, I haven't watched it in years, but the old man Bruce Wayne element really made it something unique. Also Beyond had tons of cool gadgets but a bit more high-tech than classic Batman, which was a different approach than Spiderman's (though he was smart at jury-rigging in his own right). One good thing about being rubbish at video games is that no one will suspect I've already been playing them for weeks come Christmas time.
