Saturnine Tenshi
Rockin' Android are typically pretty solid with the games they choose to localize. I have Crescent Pale Mist and Acceleration of Suguri X-Edition. They're both good games in their own right. Personally not a fan of schmups, but I'll buy their Steam titles regardless before the sale is over. By the way, Battra, I suggest you consider Satazius. It was only released a couple days ago by a new doujin localization team that has just recently gained support from Capcom, Nyu Media. Edit: Yeah, I know they're there. The picture just totally contrasts with the boobs declaration. P: Edited December 21, 2011 by Saturnine Tenshi
TheMightyEthan
Those enemies look like Santa's slutty daughter. Also, they have no pants. Just a tube top and thigh high boots, nothing in between. It seems like that would make riding a flying machine gun uncomfortable.
Battra92
Crescent Pale Mist looks pretty rad and I just added Satazius to my Steam wishlist. Suguri looks interesting but we'll see. So I guess I'm set in case of being snowed in this winter ...
Hot Heart
OK, because a lot of you have been going on about it, I grabbed Nier for cheap while I was Christmas shopping. Unfortunately, I could not see a new version so I had to buy pre-owned. I was only going to trade in the Battlefield 3 that came with my PS3 Slim and buy a stand...which meant I was left with 2p on a gift card. TheMightyEthan
Gun barrels get pretty hot... (TWSS?) On topic: Resurgence x4 b/c there are actually four Resurgence map packs. $0.24 each (well, $1.24 for the You Monster DLC).
TheMightyEthan
And also this, because the video reminded me of Wrath Unleashed and that was one of my favorite Xbox games. (map pack)

toxicitizen
Decided to get it before the deal ends because knowing myself I would've probably regretted not getting it the very second the deal ended. Also

WTF
I hate myself. ;_;. I tried so hard not to buy anything -.- But ended up with a fair few: Rayman Origins for £15 and MGS: Collection (Early Birthday gift to myself since it's barely 2 weeks away - bah!) So lets see XBLA Guwange Radiant Silvergun plus spare points PSP Corpse Party (technically PSN but whatever) PS3 PSN Titles - Mickey's Wild Adventure aka Mickey Mania Sonic CD DIsc Titles Rayman Origins MGS Collection (Both As mentioned earlier) PC Indie Royale Xmas stuff Humble Indie Bundle 4 Get Games Bundle Indie Gala Bundle Settlers 5, 6 and 7 The Witcher 1 (since it's a fucking pain to install the regular version from the disc and get it working on win 7 64 bit and it was £1, I have a spare key lying around now I think) Command and Conquer 3: Tiberian Sun on Origin Crysis 2 from d2d before they ran out of keys Shogun 2 expansion DLC The Polynomial EYE Cybermancy Chantelise NWN2 platinum Runaway 2 and 3 Psychonauts Fable 1 Dungeons of Dreadmore expansion Dead Island DLC Star wars TFU2 Limbo Civ 5 DLC Deus EX DLC New Vegas last DLC Yeah a few are from steam towards the closing of the prev sale. Red faction was £3 on gamespot downloads aka impulse (it was a steam code). I've also practically got all the Dungeons and Dragons (the missing IWD and BG1 and some others) games from GoG too. I'm glad they were all cheap but still it adds up.
Luftwaffles
Thinking about picking up a wired 360 controller for Blur and perhaps a few other games.
TheMightyEthan
Thinking about picking up a wired 360 controller for Blur and perhaps a few other games. I definitely recommend it. KB/M is better for shooters and strategy games, but for pretty much anything else I'll take a pad.

Oddly enough, I really only play shooters and strategy games, but I was mostly thinking of picking it up for jets in BF3 and some platformers that I've gotten from various Humble bundles. Trying to play Super Meat Boy with a keyboard/mouse was a part of it, too.

I mean, it's obvious that it's going to be easier. But after playing it mostly with a keyboard, when I finally gave it a shot with my gamepad I was shocked by how much it improved the precision of my jumps and timing. What controller did you use for Super Meat Boy? I'm thinking of either getting a receiver for my wireless Xbox contoller or a wired controller so I can use that on my PC. My Nyko Core PS3 Controller is alright but I feel I could do better. The problem is for a PC controller there just isn't a good D-Pad to be found. The problem is for a PC controller there just isn't a good D-Pad to be found. Mine isn't great, honestly. It's a Saitek Cyborg, but not the current one that's been made into a 360 controller. It's the previous model, with like an.. "FPS Precision" button/mode. The only thing I really like about it is that it's modular. I can take out that gray piece and flip it around so the left stick and d-pad switch places. Also, up until recently, it was very broken. Whenever I tried to calibrate it, the driver would crash when I'd press one of the triggers. Something to do with the rumble feature, which didn't even work in games. I eventually found a fix on some forum (had to delete a registry entry...) and now rumble works, but it was kind of a pain. Also, some games detect it and configure it automatically, but other games simply don't seem to see it or won't allow me bind anything to it. I wouldn't really recommend it. TheMightyEthan
I think all controllers should be modular. Both thumbsticks, the d-pad and the 4 face buttons (as one unit) should all be removable and you should be able to slot them in to any of those four locations.
Luftwaffles
Figured why not. I played a bit of Dirt 3 when there was the whole steam code fiasco and loved it, and this just seemed like the perfect price. And *ahem* my secret santa's gift.
