Hot Heart
Bought The Binding of Isaac because it was 99p. And I bought Saints Row: The Third because I've seen it making loads of people's top ten lists and such, and it was £10 on PC (although, kinda wish I'd caught the buzz when that £15 inc. season pass thing was going). Mister Jack
It was one of the few big games I was on the lookout for, but I was hoping for more than 50%. So after hesitating all day yesterday, I ultimately decided against it because I'm at the point where I realized I spent a bit more than I thought I had! But then today's deals came up and I saw there was nothing of interest to me, so I changed my mind at the last minute Pretty much this. deanb
In a roundabout way I have Space Chem and Universe Sandbox.
Mister Jack
Binding of Isaac. Had to download JoyToKey though because using the keyboard for this kind of game kills my fingers.
TheMightyEthan
SpaceChem is actually a whole hell of a lot of fun. I wouldn't have thought a game about chemical engineering would be so awesome. Anyway, bought this:
TCP
I purchased Deus Ex: Human Revolution and it came with a copy of Kane & Lynch 2, which I will realistically never ever get to playing with the current status of my back catalogue. toxicitizen
Yeah, SpaceChem is absolutely amazing. Maybe I'm just dumb but some of the puzzles are really mind-boggling at first glance. So I feel really clever when I come up with a solution after thinking about it for 30mins
Hot Heart
Bought Capsized because it was £1.50 and I know P4 said it was really good. EDIT: and Puzzle Agent because it was 99p ...and Trine because it was 69p Edited December 31, 2011 by Hot Heart
WTF
@Gerbil It was an amazon lightning deal and I was in front of a computer that day. Technically it was a b'day gift. Lets see now since the last time bought Xotic (it's actually fun and I thought 1.49 was the ideal price for it) Shogun 2 DLC Universe Sandbox Cities in Motion Sequence

deanb
Tell me how that is, I played the demo and it seemed alright but it sent vibes that all the levels were like the demo.
TheMightyEthan
Yeah, it's entertaining but there's no real difference between levels.
peteer01
Bought L.A. Noire because it was cheap ($12.49), even though I won't get my graphics card in my PC for another two weeks or so. (Barring some stupid cheap discount on a great graphics card, I'm waiting until January 9th to see what the 7970 costs and does to other cards' prices) Looking forward to playing it. :-)

TheMightyEthan
*Edit* - Interesting that it actually shows up as a separate game in your games list, rather than just being a patch to the main game. *Edit 2* - Also this: Edited January 1, 2012 by TheMightyEthan
peteer01
So, the last few days of Steam sales have broken my resolve. I now own, but have not yet played:
toxicitizen
Alright, this should be the last round. Past few days: Also grabbed the remaining Shogun 2 DLC. Today: I'd been hoping for a Sup Com daily deal, but it never happened Also, kinda kicking myself for only getting interested in King's Bounty today because it was a daily deal at some point... Really stocked up on strategy games this year, which was intentional. All part of my 2012 gaming resolution: to stop sucking at strategy games! I think that's a slighty more achievable one than something completely unrealistic like conquering the steam backlog Edited January 1, 2012 by FLD

deanb
I should maybe add what I was bought too I guess. Ethan picked me up the X Superbox. As I told him this morning: Metalcaveman picked me up Batman Arkham City Duke gave me The Ship Squishpoke got me "Secret of the Magic Crystals" which got forwarded to my little sister. And "other Johnny" (from steam chat) just got me Costume Quest "For treating me like an actual human being" And Mr Goh got me the previously mentioned bunch of stuff I posted in the santa thread. Battra92
Bought AVP Classic 2000 for the nostalgia and the laffs. The rights to the Capcom arcade AVP need to be sorted out so that it can be ported to PSN/XBL

TheMightyEthan
I learned 2 things: 1 is that I have terrible impulse control (kinda already knew that), 2 is that apparently G13 is a strain of marijuana.

Ethan, is that the Logitech G13 USB Advanced Gameboard I was talking about being on sale at NewEgg? It's now Sold Out, and I never made a decision about ordering one, so I didn't get one! Ah well...probably better that I get my gaming situation set up, and then figure out if it'd even fit in my current cramped table. And hey, this way I can get your impressions on it! I hope it's great! Edited January 3, 2012 by peteer01
