Wanted Tingle's game for ages, but it's not been available. Suddenly, a site I actually trust has 300 in stock, yay! I enjoyed the demo of Ghost trick. I hope it fills some sort of gap left by the stupidly priced Pheonix Wright games.

trying to decide if I should get: Golden Sun: Dark Dawn and/or Wario! Master of Disguise. Anyone played either?

Mind sharing the website?

I paid £1 for it :D

I really should use OnLive more.

While that's a crazy good price, I'm really not sold on OnLive :/

I installed it and created an account for the whole "try any game for 60 mins" thing, but I don't think I'd ever actually buy something on it.

I can't really come up with a rational reason for it, but I'd rather buy through Steam and have the actual installation files on my side and have the game running on my machine rather than have it all be cloud-based. I guess It's sort of like how some people still prefer physical copies, only it makes slightly less sense :P

Yeah, renting is something I'll likely try at some point. No real problem with that. Only found out it was even an option about two weeks ago...

Subscription is mostly for packs, though, right? I don't know about that. Knowing myself, I'd probably just pay for it, try everything once and never touch the games again...

It's TheGameCollection. The price has gone up though and they don't deliver deliver outside of Europe.

I've mostly been buying Non-game stuff since my last post. However here's a list of what I did end up buying:

PS3

House of the Dead: Overkill Extended Cut

Soul Calibur V (If you liked 2 and 4 you'll like this)

FF XIII-2 Ltd Collector's Edition

PSN

Rochard

Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath

Final Fantasy V and VI

Amy

PC

Anno 2070 (screw you UBI DRM not for this but for keeping Heroes offline while you're migrating servers XD, it's a lot less cumbersome in Anno)

Kingdoms of Amalur: The Reckoning

Sonic Generations: Casino Night DLC

Duke Nukem: The Doctor who cloned me DLC

Humble Android Bundle

Magicka Stars are Left DLC

Dead Space 2 (2 copies me and my brother - price = free)

3DS

Kid Icarus classic

Resident Evil Revelations with the circle pad pro. I can review the circle pad pro if anyone wants me to. But I will say this, it's worth it. Sure you can play the game without it but this thing makes it a whole lot easier.

My Vita is already mostly paid for and I might be paying between nothing (Thanks to some useless old phones and the PSPGo that I traded) to 50 depending on the best offer if it's from Sony directly or from Amazon. That's inclusive of an 8GB memory card and a retail title. I already have the preorder box so I have frobisher says and £5 off of Escape Plan and £10 off of something from gamestation.

Edit:

I bought Batman: Arkham Lockdown for the iOS and honestly it's pretty similar to infinity blade but it's not bad either to be fair. Wondering if I should get ghost trick, if you have an iPhone or iPad get it on it since it's 6.99 and it is a universal app.

To clarify an earlier post. These are what I bought. I used my loyalty card points to knock it down by £10. They cost £11.47 normally. Which as Kovach said isn't bad as it is. All three include the instructions too and the discs are fine. Just no covers. Which I can probably re-print, plenty of nice alt-cover sites out there.

So yes, it's not some fancy deal. Just doing some digging on shelves and racking up points.

Humbug. Thanks anyway. :(

Zavvi.com will deliver European games to the US. I assume they will deliver to Canadia as well.

Other M is a lot of fun if you just want a good action game and arent a Metroid fanboy. Just skip the cutscenes, man.

Its also one of the prettiest games on the Wii.

THIS! Fuck the haters! I love Metroid and I really enjoyed Other M. Sure the story sucked and two or three times you had to play hide and seek. Big whoop! It was worth the $30 I paid for it and it's well worth the $10.

On a side note, I had $5 and I'm in a Sonic mood for whatever reason so I picked up the PC version of this:

Sad that it's probably the only reason to own a Sega CD system and yet here it is, for $5 at the click of a mouse.

Bought the Mega Man Anniversary Collection for PS2 a few years ago and at the time this one was seriously overpriced everywhere I looked. I don't know if there was a reissue or something but a video I watched on youtube the other night made me want to play the games and I remembered I was still missing the X Collection so I looked it up on Amazon.ca and found a marketplace seller that had it for like 15$ brand new. Instant buy.

edit: So I did my first run of the Diablo III beta today and...

... it was fucking awesome!

pro-ex-controller-2mk7-460.jpg

For less than a third the cost of a new PS3 controller I got this one. It's wired but that's not a big deal, plus I can use it on my PC. Sadly I dropped my Nyko one and broke the trigger so I thought I'd give this a shot. I'm not a fan of paying $55 for a controller just because it's wireless and uses SIXAXIS technology that is used on exactly zero games that I play.

Holy crap, that MMX collection is like $10 today with free prime shipping. I bought that so fast. Thanks for the tip.

I bought Final Fantasy: 4 Heroes of Light. I actually don't have a ton of money right now, I have plenty of games, and I don't have a ton of free time. So why on earth did I buy the game?

Well, because the DS is already a full year out of style and at this point any time I pass on a DS game it's a very real possibility that I'll never see it on a store shelf again.
