Also took advantage of the D&D GoG deal.

After recently playing Diablo II, I decided I need to play some more PC classics in the near future. And those two were at the top of my list, so this sale came along at a perfect time :)

To those who've played them before, which one would you suggest I tackle first?

My understanding is that Planescape Torment supposedly has some of the best writing in videogame history and Baldur's Gate is basically an old-school version of Dragon Age Origins.

oops. I bought a £35 PSN card so I could get some games on PSN that are reduced until the end of today, added it and ended up with £63 total. Really don't remember buying the last one as games are usually cheaper on LIVE so I usually get download games on that.

Anyway the games I bought were:

Hamilton's great adventure,

Tales from space: about a blob, and

hyperballoid.

Any PSN exclusives worth getting to use a bit of my cash up? Will probably be getting journey but not sure what else.

I just picked up Rayman Origins, Alan Wake's American Nightmare, and Infamous 2: Festival of Blood. Here I was, telling myself I wouldn't buy any more games (other than the must-haves on my top 10 list) until I beat my backlog, and I up and bought two more games than I'd planned.

Oh well.

I guess this convo is over, but still thought I'd pop this little bit of info in here. Apparently GAME won't be stocking any version The Last Story at all so people that got downgraded to standard edition and weren't annoyed enough, now won't be getting it at all. I really cannot imagine anyone pre-ordering a game from GAME any time soon.

That is dreadful. How can you not have stock for stuff that was pre-ordered? I thought that was the whole idea. They'd better not screw up with Mass Effect 3...

Can't help but think of Seinfeld.

Game has issues with Nintendo technically as is. Initially they weren't getting ltd copies of the last story then it turns out that they can't stock last story at all. It's to do with their credit issues and Nintendo and Konami UK are a bit too strict with that.

EA is a bit more lenient and they do rely a fair bit on Game for retail distribution. Mass Effect will be fine just like Syndicate is but if things continue as is they could jump ship sometime mid next fiscal. I'm not entirely certain of the workings of EA with Game but there are others who can clarify this.
