I didn't realize it was 3D, so that's a little exciting.

You've got 3D? My friend had this in 3D and what really bugs me about it is the total lack of antialiasing. Aliasing bothers your eyes in 2D and when you have two eyes looking at two separately aliased images simultaneously it's awful. Hopefully if they continue the push on 3D they'll learn to use some heavy AA.

While I agree the lack of anti-aliasing is a problem, in my experience two separately aliased images together looks smoother than one single image with the same amount of aliasing, like my brain averages together the two images.

Though because it does the 3D at a lower resolution it's more aliased than in 2D, and the smoothing effect isn't enough to make up for that.

Yeah, it seems to me that if the jaggies are really bad your eyes are trying to match them up and failing and they kind of freak out about it. My friend has a 3D TV and we were checking out stuff like that. Halo and Assassin's Creed Revelations looked much better in 3D and strangely, on average, the Xbox 360 looks better in 3D. I'm not really sure why that is. He has a Panasonic plasma 3D TV that's active 3D.

I really want to jump into the 3D thing but I'm probably going to do it on the PC side because then I can control the graphic settings.

My 3DTV's passive, I wonder if that has something to do with the difference.

I played all of SotC and Ico in 3D though and it was great, and I also played what little bit of Splinter Cell HD I played before sending it back in 3D, and thought it was good too. Though since those were ported PS2 games they had a lot of AA so jaggies weren't an issue, I'll be interested to see how Uncharted 3 as a native PS3 game does. I did play the demos to MotorStorm and Killzone 3 in 3D though and they weren't bad. I do think Halo Anniversary was the best-looking current-gen (not port) game I've played in 3D though. I tried the Sonic Generations demo on 360 in 3D but it dropped frames like crazy.

And I think that covers every game I've played in 3D. I don't have a 3D monitor and I don't want to lug my desktop into the living room so I don't play PC games in 3D.

Sometimes very small text or very thin (1-pixel) lines in the interface look weird, but otherwise it doesn't bother me. The only real negative about it is that it lowers the resolution, so I'm looking at 2 1080i pictures instead of 1080p ones. I think the smaller, lighter glasses and the fact that they don't need batteries makes up for it though.

Basically I will avoid batteries in anything if at all possible.

Shogun 2 Fall of the Samurai (paid for already - it was only £10)

Blazblue Vita

Motorstorm RC DLC

I'm currently pondering Jak and Daxter Trilogy.

I've already paid for some more Vita stuff, just waiting for its delivery after my move.

Xenoblade Chronicles. I felt quite guilty not owning it! I didn't just buy it in support of localisation though - I do want to play it. I also guess that means my next wii purchase will be Last Story. I may wait to play it on my WiiU though as I have really annoying rolling lines with my component cable on the Wii which drove me mental on Skyward Sword. Not like I'm short of games to play in the meantime.

Grabbed a few things on PSN last night. It's a pretty good week for PS+ subscribers. Got the original Sly Cooper along with two weird games called Hamsterball and Battle Fantasia, all free. They're also giving away SSFIITHDR and Umjammer Lammy, but I already owned both of those.

Other than that, I bought the From Ashes DLC for ME3 along with inFamous 2: Festival of Blood and Chrono Trigger, the last two being being on sale for less than 5$ each. I'm debating getting Journey as well, but 15$ seems a bit steep to me. Especially after having just spent close to 20$.

Not discounted, it's just a week early for Plus users. However I have to say the game is about 2-3 hours long but requires a few playthroughs. The experience depends on yourself, if you're in the mood to chill a bit and the fellow traveller you meet.
