TheMightyEthan
Yeah, I'm going to get it, just right now I'm in Mass Effect. If it was discounted I was going to go ahead and buy it now, but since it's not I'll just wait until it either goes on discount or I'm ready to play it. Luftwaffles
Mass Effect 3, Greenmangaming, $48 bucks. Â Cheap enough for me. Shame I'm going to be gone all of next week until friday and won't get to play until then. Anyone else get it on PC (for the multiplayer)? Hot Heart
I got ME3 on PC. Think my Origin name is HotHeart. Might be a space or an underscore... You could find me through Dean or Vargras otherwise? I have a Garrus avatar.

And once I play a bit of the SP of course.
Hot Heart
Cool. Not sure how often my hours intersect with those across the Atlantic, but worth a shot anyway.
toxicitizen
Â Way earlier than I usually place my pre-orders, but considering I do it exclusively online, I usually miss out on stuff that stores hand out early like the steelbook. But ebgames.ca mentions that you get it "at the time of purchase", so I'm not sure if they're going to send me one right away or just hang on to it until launch (fat chance of that lol), but according to their site, I *should* be getting one! Â I normally don't care much for steelbooks when they replace the regular box (like with the N7 Editions of Mass Effect) but in this case it's more like a badass collectible, so why the hell not. Â edit: just got a shipping notice for the steelbook! I was worried they'd charge me for the full game right away, but it seems they didn't. The only charge from them is for 0.00$, which I'm guessing was only a verification thing for the credit card. TheMightyEthan
I also preordered AC3 on Amazon to secure a metal case (PS3 since promo doesn't apply to PC), though depending on what they announce regarding PC release date I'll probably cancel my order. Â Also this: Â

Might want to make sure that they'll ship the steelbook right away, then. I know Amazon.ca doesn't ship pre-order bonuses in advance. When I pre-ordered mine, I went to ebgames.ca because Amazon.ca didn't mention the steelbook. They now do but they also specify that they'll only ship on release day. So if it's the same for Amazon.com, then you'll probably lose your steelbook if you cancel the PS3 pre-order. Yantelope V2
 Picked this up off the Steam sale today.
toxicitizen
Â Got an email about a 50% off sale on Origin last night so checked it out, not really expecting to find anything. Then I saw this for 15$. I remember hearing good things about it around release and while it was never really a priority, I'd been meaning to play it at some point and this was too good a price to pass up. Â I love how these Origin sales apply to console titles as well. I mean, it's obvious that their goal is to promote the digital side of things but I'm really not sold on the idea of actually buying a PC game on there. Â That being said, Dragon Age II for 10$ is kinda tempting... I mean, I still feel like they removed everything that made me love the original, but for some reason I've been thinking about maybe giving it a shot lately. I would much rather have it on Steam but at this point it doesn't look like it's ever coming back on there and 10$ is hardly steep... Luftwaffles
Â From the steam daily deal. Been playing a few more racers recently and figured this was worth a shot for $5. Â Â And then this, via P4. Thanks!
toxicitizen
I have also grabbed   Tried it a bit this afternoon. Seemed fun but it froze on me during the second level. Like, complete system lock up. :/ I suspect the game isn't entirely at fault, though. Been happening in the Diablo III beta as well.  Also, this   Through Origin... I feel dirty. Someone hold me... TheMightyEthan
Â Burnout Paradise is an abomination. A total perversion of the Burnout name! Â Honestly, I probably would have liked it if it hadn't been called "Burnout", but they took out all my favorite events from previous Burnouts so I was incredibly disappointed. Â Honestly, I probably would have liked it if it hadn't been called "Burnout", but they took out all my favorite events from previous Burnouts so I was incredibly disappointed. Â I'm sure my wife would second this. She found the game somewhat fun but kept complaining about why they didn't have XYZ of Burnout. Once she got other games, she hasn't touched BP since. Â I heard Split Second was more like Burnout than Burnout Paradise but I haven't played it.
Yantelope V2
I love how every thread devlovles into a Burnout Paradise hate session at least once. Â I also love how "take any route to your goal" became, "if you take one wrong turn you're screwed and there's no restart button!".

Strangelove
I also dont have fond memories of Burnout Paradise. It played well enough and it was a pretty looking game(it was actually the first racer I got for my PS3), but the actual game and the way it plays....ugh. I dunno. That game was frustrating. I remember I just gave up on the challenges and I used to just play it when I was bored and I just wanted to cruise around listening to my music.
