Luftwaffles
Also with everyone getting Bulletstorm I guess I'll have to set up a match at some point in the future. (Though it's only 4 at a time so maybe a few matches) I'd definitely be down for some Bulletstorm sometime. The co-op is a lot of fun. Yantelope V2
Target is clearancing their copies of it out for $35. Check your local store if you care. I really want to try the move integration on this. Reviews of 12 were going on about how it is pretty good.
Strangelove
I went back and got it at GS yesterday. Brand new for 20 bucks sounded like a good deal, especially for the signature edition. It basically comes with some Gamestop exclusive dlc. It also comes with AC1...which is kind of neat, but seriously...who wants to play AC1 after the past 3 AC games are a million times better? It doesnt even have trophies, so trophy whores wouldnt play it either. Seems kind of pointless. Edited April 2, 2012 by Strangelove
TheMightyEthan
Bullet-point, and since AC1 already existed on PS3 they didn't even have to port it. It was basically 0 work, and I really doubt they were making much from sales of AC1 anyway. *Edit* - I'll have to try a golf game on my Move once it gets here. My father in law would probably like it too. Edited April 2, 2012 by TheMightyEthan
Yantelope V2
Only PGA 12 and 13 work with the move AFAIK.
TheMightyEthan
Yeah, I'll have to do some research on it. Actual 1:1 golf simulation would be cool, cause then I could work on my swing (which atm I can only hit the ball accurate to within about 160 degrees) in air conditioned comfort and without looking like an idiot on the driving range. I don't know anything about golf so this is probably dumb, but to me that sounds like you can only guarantee that your ball will end in front of you but could almost end up going at right angles to the direction you were aiming for? Yantelope V2
Golfing is so much harder than it looks. It's kind of strange like that. The angle of the club when it strikes the ball can make the ball go all over the place if you don't have a very consistent swing. I've only tried hitting some balls at the driving range a few times and it's surprisingly difficult.
TheFlyingGerbil
I don't doubt it's harder than it looks, I just wish it were more exciting than it looked.
Strangelove
Golf is fun. Im not sure why. It just is. Watching it is a pain in the asshole though.
Yantelope V2
I love watching golf, especially on a Sunday afternoon, open the shades and let a littlle light in, curl up on the couch and pass out quickly. It's the perfect sport for napping. Pleasant sounds of birds and fountains. Even the announcers speak in hushed tones because they know you're sleeping and the fans all do that gentle clap. It's great.
CorgiShinobi
I enjoy playing golf, not to mention I'm pretty decent at it, but it would be once every blue moon you would catch me watching it on television. Last golf video game I played was Wii Sports golf. Prior to that was Mario Golf 64, and I played that for a good while. Tried to have my father play along with me, but even a golf video game wasn't a good enough incentive to play video games.
TheMightyEthan
I think the last golf game I played was the golf mode of one of the Super Monkey Ball games.
Yantelope V2
Mario Golf on N64 was greatness. The Gamecube version was not so much.
TheMightyEthan
Same can be said for Mario Tennis. GC version made me sad.
Yantelope V2
Virtual Boy was the only way to play Mario Tennis. (I'm kidding, don't hurt me)
Strangelove
Mario Tennis was the only game I had on my Virtual Boy. I have fond memories of it. It also didnt give me a headache, so theres that. I never had a problem with it like everyone else did.
Yantelope V2
I still need to go pull my virtual boy out and play it. I have a ton of games for it. Wario Land on the virtual boy was actually really good.
Strangelove
Im sure if the graphics had been in more colors besides red and it were small enough to be strapped to your face it would have succeeded.
TheFlyingGerbil
I'm still hoping they add virtual boy to the virtual consoles in the eShop.
Yantelope V2
maybe if the WiiU can do 3D!
TheFlyingGerbil
yeah, Nintendo'd need a device that could do 3D...
Yantelope V2
Seriously, why aren't there any Virtual Boy games on 3DS? At least bring out Wario Land. That was a great game.
TheFlyingGerbil
I don't know, that's what I'm asking for!
TCP
That's a good question. The 3DS VC has so obviously screamed "we don't really care anymore". The Wii VC had 3 games a week during it's heyday, we're lucky to get a single game. One black and white game. No Pokemons, no Oracle Zeldas, no Gameboy Colour games to be seen. No GBA games either, unless you got the 10 free. BULLSHIT!
