Oh Steam sales. You always get me. I said to my self I have a backlog. I have games to play already. Steam said NOPE, SORRY THERE EXCEL, BUY THIS.

....that's all I've bought for myself so far. But Legend of Grimrock and The Walking Dead and Deus Ex Human Revolution are all talking to me. They say BUY ME, BUY ME, BUY ME, BUY ME, BUY ME, BUY ME. But I'll resist. I WILL RESIST.

So far, I've got the following. Total cost of $42.94. Still haven't passed the $59.99 price point. It's gonna come soon though. Got something I want from today's deals.

However, what I really want is for Mafia II to be under $10. I can get it from gmg for $12 and it's currently at $15 from steam. But there's still time.

I like GoG a lot but at this point I have too much invested in my Steam account to do that. I don't really mind double dipping every now and then to support them a little, though. I bought Thief 1 and 2 the second they popped up on Steam but that didn't make me regret having already bought them on GoG.

Anyway, more purchases

Was on my "maybe" list, 15$ seemed like a decent price. Glad to see Telltale finally decided to include everything in a single app. Was getting kind of tired of getting a separate game listing every time they released a new episode for something.

Also grabbed this when it was a flash deal.

Because fucking Batman, man.

And with that, I've officially exhausted my (very limited) budget. Kind of amazed I managed to last this long with less than fifty bucks, to be honest.

Fortunately, this is only a minor setback as I finally got around to selling that stack of games I'd been meaning to get rid of for a couple months. Should be back in business tomorrow. Stupid bank is closed at this hour, so I can't go make the deposit now.

I use my phone charger in a wall outlet next to the sofa when my controller is running low. Also, the coolest thing one of the cool things about the Wii is the USB port is powered even when the console's in standby so I always keep a USB cable in the back of the Wii to keep my PS3 controller charged up.

edit: my actual point was it boggles my mind that you can't charge your PS3/xbox controller when the console is in standby as no one wants to charge it while they're using it.

I use my phone charger for the DS3 when I'm sitting on the couch, but when I'm playing a game I really want to get into cinematically or a Move game I like to sit on my floor rocker chair in the middle of the room and then there are no outlets in range either.

Right, so my loot right now stands at:

Alan Wake, Tobe's Vertical Adventure (little pixel-art platformer for $1.25), Binding of Isaac, Ys Origins, Tropico 4, Prince of Persia '08, and Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light (for co-op with my bro, turns out the netcode is fucked up the ass).

Not bad at all. Should keep me occupied for quite a while.

One last one I think. I really hope its as good as 2013 because 2013 as a game is one of my top favorites.

2017. And, no, it's not. :(

They made improvements in some areas, but there are some changes that make a drastic difference for the worse (and some of the classes feel pointless). It might be fun enough in multiplayer though.

I played it for about three hours last night. It felt off in the beginning but as I leveled up a bit, I started to move at about the same speed as 2017. Same with the weapons but they feel off. I really hope that when I'm higher in level I can run and gun. With that said, level progression is actually pretty good. With each level and better guns,

. As for the enemies, I like the variety but the demished numbers is terrible. I also don't like the death as much. I want to see them go flying. The controls acts a bit odd at times but it may be just my controller.

I also heard that there is far less levels than 2017. A pretty big NO from me. I really hope there will be a map pack in the future. Overall at this point and what I know, I give it s 66-75% of what 2017 was for me. Still fun though since its trying to live up to one of my favorite games!

Not sure about DLC, since it's nearly a year-old by now. I know a new game is being made, and I think it's by the original developers. At least, I hope it is.

I was not a fan of how IA handled any of the progression stuff and the levels lacked variety...which wasn't even a strong point for 2017, but they managed it.
