TheMightyEthan
I'd like to see Prototype for $5, but that's about all I care about at this point. I agree it's seemed tame, but I think the reason for that is that I already own most of the games on Steam that I really want.
Hot Heart
I'm not gaming that much anymore so I'm finding it quite easy to resist stuff purely because I know I probably won't play it.
Luftwaffles
Â So far the flash deals have proved far more deadly for me than the actual daily deals... I figured rather than picking up Gods and Kings right now (as 25% off isn't quite enough for me to get it), I'd just get Civ4 instead. Â Oh, also bought Q.U.B.E. excel_excel
Â Oh Steam sales. You always get me. I said to my self I have a backlog. I have games to play already. Steam said NOPE, SORRY THERE EXCEL, BUY THIS. Â ....that's all I've bought for myself so far. But Legend of Grimrock and The Walking Dead and Deus Ex Human Revolution are all talking to me. They say BUY ME, BUY ME, BUY ME, BUY ME, BUY ME, BUY ME. But I'll resist. I WILL RESIST.
TheMightyEthan
Â Â Decided that it was worth it to get them now when they're 75% off. $2.50 total.
Eleven
So far, I've got the following. Total cost of $42.94. Still haven't passed the $59.99 price point. It's gonna come soon though. Got something I want from today's deals. Â Â However, what I really want is for Mafia II to be under $10. I can get it from gmg for $12 and it's currently at $15 from steam. But there's still time. Faiblesse Des Sens
Does anyone else have a rule about not buying something on Steam if it's on GoG? This has been an interesting sale for me because of that.
TheMightyEthan
I don't, though I probably should. I'm just too lazy.
toxicitizen
I like GoG a lot but at this point I have too much invested in my Steam account to do that. I don't really mind double dipping every now and then to support them a little, though. I bought Thief 1 and 2 the second they popped up on Steam but that didn't make me regret having already bought them on GoG.  Anyway, more purchases   Was on my "maybe" list, 15$ seemed like a decent price. Glad to see Telltale finally decided to include everything in a single app. Was getting kind of tired of getting a separate game listing every time they released a new episode for something.  Also grabbed this when it was a flash deal.   Because fucking Batman, man.  And with that, I've officially exhausted my (very limited) budget. Kind of amazed I managed to last this long with less than fifty bucks, to be honest. Fortunately, this is only a minor setback as I finally got around to selling that stack of games I'd been meaning to get rid of for a couple months. Should be back in business tomorrow. Stupid bank is closed at this hour, so I can't go make the deposit now. Edited July 16, 2012 by FLD
Mal
Add me to the list as well. I also went ahead and got the whole freaking collection. With this and two Ys games, I think I am good for this sale. I can'r really think of one game that I really want right now that is on Steam. TheMightyEthan
Â Because I'm sick of having to sit within 6 inches of the TV whenever the PS3 controller is running low.
TheFlyingGerbil
I use my phone charger in a wall outlet next to the sofa when my controller is running low. Also, the coolest thing one of the cool things about the Wii is the USB port is powered even when the console's in standby so I always keep a USB cable in the back of the Wii to keep my PS3 controller charged up. Â edit: my actual point was it boggles my mind that you can't charge your PS3/xbox controller when the console is in standby as no one wants to charge it while they're using it. TheMightyEthan
I use my phone charger for the DS3 when I'm sitting on the couch, but when I'm playing a game I really want to get into cinematically or a Move game I like to sit on my floor rocker chair in the middle of the room and then there are no outlets in range either. RockyRan
Right, so my loot right now stands at: Â Alan Wake, Tobe's Vertical Adventure (little pixel-art platformer for $1.25), Binding of Isaac, Ys Origins, Tropico 4, Prince of Persia '08, and Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light (for co-op with my bro, turns out the netcode is fucked up the ass). Â Not bad at all. Should keep me occupied for quite a while. Edited July 17, 2012 by RockyRan
Mal
One last one I think. I really hope its as good as 2017 because 2017 as a game is one of my top favorites. Edited July 17, 2012 by MaliciousH
Hot Heart
One last one I think. I really hope its as good as 2013 because 2013 as a game is one of my top favorites. 2017. And, no, it's not. Â They made improvements in some areas, but there are some changes that make a drastic difference for the worse (and some of the classes feel pointless). It might be fun enough in multiplayer though. Mal
I played it for about three hours last night. It felt off in the beginning but as I leveled up a bit, I started to move at about the same speed as 2017. Same with the weapons but they feel off. I really hope that when I'm higher in level I can run and gun. With that said, level progression is actually pretty good. With each level and better guns, . As for the enemies, I like the variety but the demished numbers is terrible. I also don't like the death as much. I want to see them go flying. The controls acts a bit odd at times but it may be just my controller. I also heard that there is far less levels than 2017. A pretty big NO from me. I really hope there will be a map pack in the future. Overall at this point and what I know, I give it s 66-75% of what 2017 was for me. Still fun though since its trying to live up to one of my favorite games!
Hot Heart
Not sure about DLC, since it's nearly a year-old by now. I know a new game is being made, and I think it's by the original developers. At least, I hope it is. Â I was not a fan of how IA handled any of the progression stuff and the levels lacked variety...which wasn't even a strong point for 2017, but they managed it. Mal
I think it will be since notice how its called Earth Defense Force 4. EDF 2017 is called EDF 3 in Japan. The logo for EDF 4 also gives me a very cheesy feeling to it which is a good thing! My body is ready.
