Vecha
Just bought a "Gamestop" wired 360 controller for my PC. Was 21 bucks. Used. Works like a champ. Usually against buying used from GS...but since it is hardware...and that have that 30 day money back guarantee thingy...thought I'd plunge for it. Playing it mostly with Gothic 3(got that on GOG recently).
Faiblesse Des Sens
PSN ID: AllergicDonkey Why didn't you just use a PS3 controller?
TheMightyEthan
Cause that would require getting a bluetooth adapter for the PC. And while I can't speak for him I prefer the 360 controller over the DS3, so I'd choose it anyway.
Alex Heat
I had everything else from the THQ Bundle already though. Gave Saints Row 3 to a friend who had wanted it for a long while now. Thanks for pointing it out, Strangelove. Steam sale! And belatedly... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5YySGy_4Wag Oh god, so good!

Or he can just use the USB cable that came with the thing.
TheMightyEthan
Oh yeah, forgot about that. Other point still applies though.
excel_excel
Bought this for my girlfriend and bought this for myself, was on sale on shopto for like a tenner!
Faiblesse Des Sens
I finally picked up CS:GO on Steam since it was $7.50 in the recent sale.
Vecha
Yeah...no on the whole ps3 with blu-tooth or usb cable. I wouldn't mind playing with a ps3 controller...but after reading about the motion joy driver(and how it fucked up some peoples hardware) I decided against it. Maybe it would have been fine to install motion joy. Didn't want to risk it. I'll pay 20$ for an extra controller.
VicariousShaner
If it means anything, I've never had issues with Motion Joy with all the experience I've had using it.
Vecha
If it means anything, I've never had issues with Motion Joy with all the experience I've had using it. Alot of people have no issues with it...but there is that small percentage who get their drivers messed up. Didn't want to risk it.

toxicitizen
Sold my PS3 copy a while back and I've been waiting for a good deal to replace it. Was gonna be on the lookout for it during the steam sale but GMG beat them to the punch. 75% off + 35% voucher I got for filling out their recent survey. So a little under 5 bucks This is the second game that was on my sale shopping list that I end up getting earlier and for cheaper than anticipated.

madbassman39
If you buy that on the Vita do you also get the PS3 version? Or is it only when you buy it on the PS3 you get the Vita version?
TCP
Only the PS3 version gives you the Vita version, not vice versa. SL, hit me up if you want to be brutally assaulted.
CorgiShinobi
For PS3, because 1) I don't necessarily have any standard multiplayer games for PS3, and 2) I've heard and read it's pretty good.
Vecha
Bought Kingdom of Amalur. It's alright..glad I waited till it was ~30 bucks.
deanb
I nearly picked it up for £10 other day (PC version), but figured I'd wait for Steam sale, then maybe grab it come January.
TheMightyEthan
I grabbed it for $30 several months ago on Amazon. Haven't gotten around to playing it yet. Edited December 18, 2012 by TheMightyEthan
Vecha
The world is very bright and lovely... But really not a fan of the story...Almost on the verge of being annoyed by all the "new" race names and city names. Maybe when I played it last night I wasn't in the right mood... Decent action rpg fare.
TheMightyEthan
I kind of liked that they didn't have Elves and Dwarves and whatnot, but instead had Fairies and Gnomes and such. It lets it fit into typical fantasy tropes without seeming quite so generic.
deanb
It's worth keeping in mind, lore/story wise, that the aim was for this to be an SP introduction into an eventual MMO.
Vecha
True enough...the names just get on my damn nerves. I've been skipping alot of dialog... Not a bad game by any means...and it's pretty unique in alot of way, but the story didn't grab me. Fun as hell... All that matters Edit: Of course I meant I've been shipping the alot monster dialog! Edited December 19, 2012 by Vecha heheheh. My favourite typo/grammar mistake.
Strangelove
The name changes were annoying. I seriously hated them. They tried way too hard to change shit for the sake of it. Especially considering its the same shit as other fantasy games and books. Fuck them.
