Vecha
The name changes were annoying. I seriously hated them. They tried way too hard to change shit for the sake of it. Especially considering its the same shit as other fantasy games and books. Fuck them. Yeah...especially the whole "fae"...short for Fairy. I was like....seriously? Not even half original. Well....except for trying to merge a fairy with a elf. That's just weird, man. Sick and weird. The gameplay is decent...though the camera feels weird...as if I'm zoomed in all the time. Like calling them "the fair folk". And sure it's not original. But neither is it original for other games to have elves and dwarves and orcs. At least this one is slightly different.
Alex Heat
I recall something similar happening on Kotaku where the writer in question was like 'What is with this Seelie/Unseelie thing?'. Picked up Purse Owner 4 Arena for the 360 while it was still on special.
Strangelove
Just call shit by what most people know it as. Dont fuck around. It seems pretentious, despite those words probably already existed. Its a fucking fairy and its always going to be a fucking fairy.
Alex Heat
I wouldn't call it pretentiousness so much as I think it kind of boils down to Scottish folklore not being a popular subject in America outside of people who follow mythology (Ignorance? In MY Americas? It's more likely than you think!).
Strangelove
And this shitty game isnt going to change that either. God knows it didnt.
Vecha
Hmm...interesting. Wish I would have known it was based off Scottish folklore/mythology to begin with.
deanb
Grabbed the FFVII Modern PC version off the SE store. SE store is trash, but game was cheap.

Saturnine Tenshi
I was in the beta for this game and was incurably smitten by it. While it could certainly use more content and perhaps a bit of polish, it's a fantastic medieval combat game—the best I've yet to play. I mentioned buying the 4-pack to a friend and he bought me a copy (which he has a habit of doing), so I bought one for the wife as well. toxicitizen
There aren't all that many full games I'm looking to get this year since I've managed to get most of the ones I wanted in the last few weeks. So I'm grabbing DLC instead. Dunwall City Trials didn't go on sale with the main game on Steam so I just grabbed it on GMG using the current voucher. edit: sigh... I've been listening to Amon Tobin a lot lately, especially his Chaos Theory soundtrack. Which kinda gave me an itch to replay some Splinter Cell.. So this happened @Tenshi: Cool. It's not exactly the most exciting DLC in the world but frankly I just can't say no to more Dishonored. Plus, the gameplay is good enough that I can actually imagine this being a lot of fun. Saturnine Tenshi
Dunwall City Trials is friggin' difficult. I love the first mission, though. Especially if you decide to do it without using any powers.
FMW
Today I went down and pre-ordered (and paid off completely) Fire Emblem: Awakening. I want this game very badly, and I know that Fire Emblem is not a franchise that's always guaranteed to get localization to North America. So I'm breaking one of my normal rules and actually pre-ordering. Normally I prefer to just wander into a random store the week of release and buy the game on the spot.

deanb
It's on sale on Google Play and I'd always heard good things of it.
toxicitizen
I've wanted to play this one for years but kinda forgot about it until it appeared on Steam not too long ago.
Hot Heart
NFS: Most Wanted for Android. Figured you can't go wrong for 73p. And thanks for the heads-up, Dean! EDIT: And grabbed Waking Mars too, because why the hell not? Edited December 23, 2012 by Hot Heart
Mal
Moe moe animu. Besides, it looks like the sort of beat-them-up game I would enjoy. Sadly there doesn't seem to be any sort of exploration. Just one stage after the next. If I end up hating this aspect, hey, its only $4. Its like one comic right there. toxicitizen
Already owned the main game from the humble bundle but it was the cheapest way to get all the DLC.
