If Excel_Excel (the fellow with the prosecutor Godot avatar picture) picks anything but black then I'm gonna be upset.

This poll is public for a reason. We will judge you for incorrect thinking.

And no, accusing people of incorrect thinking for their java preference has absolutely no Orwellian connotation.

They're just wrong.

Is there an "everything" option? I mostly stay away from coffee, though it easily beats tea for popularity here. Still, when I do... I take hot coffee black. Or iced coffee black. Or canned coffee with lots of cream and sugar because that's how it comes, and I still love it. I want to try Vietnamese-style coffee some time. I have a squeeze bottle of iced coffee syrup that's great in milk like they recommend, but it's also awesome over ice cream or even on pie. Chocolate-covered espresso beans are great, though I mostly stay away from them now because I really don't NEED to stay up until 10am playing video games all the time... Coffee Crisp bars are good, though it's mostly sugar with some coffee flavouring and cheap chocolate. Kopiko candies are good if you want something stronger... Kasugai sumiyaki coffee candies take it to the next level - they're big and strong and full of caffeine. Trident cappuccino gum is... just weird, and best avoided...

Usually though, I just stick with green tea or English breakfast tea - that stuff is awesomely strong, though way less common than green, orange pekoe, tisanes, or even rooibos tisanes.

Also in a pinch, it's not so bad just chewing on roasted coffee beans or grounds, but that's kind of a rarity... I did it more as a teenager.

Really depends on my mood. I can take it however. Price and cost might force me to go pure black which is fine with me.

Right now I am trying to go through my Vietnamese-styled coffee, I'm using good old sweet condense milk. One thing though, I am using a french press for it instead of the small dripper. In essence, they both do exactly the same thing. I just find the french press to be more convenient. Faster too. Another way I take coffee is to mix it with tea. 50/50 black tea/coffee.

And... Honey? I don't think floral/citrus (I have orange blossom honey at the moment) notes will jive too well with coffee.

I've actually had some crazy Lime flavored coffee from Thailand. It was surprisingly good. I think Citrus and Coffee can work. You've gotta combine the bitter of the coffee with the sour of the citrus. Kinda like a gin and tonic actually, except savory instead of sweet. So no, I don't see citrus honey working all that well. But citrus something else could work.

I like my coffee with milk and sugar but depending on my mood, how awake I am or the blend of coffee I'm drinking, I'll take it black. I don't actually drink much coffee these days - though I'll be having one soon to keep myself awake for the day. I was seriously addicted to it years ago. No word of a lie, I used to spoon in 2-3 tablespoons of coffee into a single cup and drink about 10 of those a day. I couldn't get enough of the stuff.

As far as blends go, I like a smooth coffee to a strong one - something like Nescafé's Gold Blend.

I'm guessing it's an English vs English thing that you don't have milk on the list?

I started having my tea n coffee black about a year back. I wish more folks did, make it so much easier doing a round of drinks if you only need to know how much sugar(or sweetner) they have.

As for coffee I get smooth/gold types. Hate the basic nescafe stuff my dad manages to have.

Honey probably sounds weird, but I drink it with vanilla-flavored coffee roast so it actually tastes pretty good. Then again I could just be weird.

It's pretty common in our family. My grandfather was a beekeeper and now my father keeps a couple of hives so we always have honey. Usually, I'll just use sugar because that's right beside the coffee and tea but I do indulge myself with honey instead of sugar sometimes. The problem I find with honey in tea or coffee is that some honeys can outshine the other flavours and the result can be sickly-sweet.

Black. Sometimes a lil' natural sugar. I'm not a total coffee snob but I definitely can't stand folgers and anything similar. It's absolute shit. Starbucks will do (both buying it in a shop and/or using their beans) but that's about as low as I can go. I've been spoiled greatly with easy access to Stumptown beans and grounds over the past year. Mostly the Holler Mountain blend which is very easy to drink daily.

Mmmm, I'd try the Vietnamese coffee but I don't think I could waste the heavenly delights of condensed milk in coffee.

Also, the song on that video was ace.

I'm guessing at home, Americans generally use ground ground coffee in a drip machine and Brits use instant? Usually I stick to tea when I'll have assam with semi-skimmmed milk and sugar as I don't really like instant coffee but it's so easy and no mess it tends to be what I'll have at home if I can't be bothered making tea. for that reason I have sugar and cat milk to make it bearable . If I'm out I'll have an espresso with no milk/sugar or a cappuccino without sugar.
