TheFlyingGerbil
even if you don't like the free games they're offering it's always worth 'buying' them - at the moment they're coming with 20% off vouchers for anything in the store and some of them can even be used as credit against future purchases. I just got an extra £1 off to the moon by trading in my free copy of commandos 3 which I had no intention of playing.

TheRevanchist
If you play games on your iPhone and like turn based combat, then this is the game for you. http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/100-rogues/id354011870?mt=8&ign-mpt=uo%3D4 100 Rogues is normally $2.99. It's free today. The game is has a smidge of humor and the level maps, though simple, are randomly generated. One life per play. You die, you start over, which makes it a good challenge. There is some paid content within, if you like, but the game is still loads of fun without it.
TheRevanchist
For those feeling nostalgic, Atari brands brings us Centipede: Origins. It's free on iPhone/iPad today at the iTunes store. Granted, you are only saving $0.99. But, that can still buy you something. Sure, something really, really small and useless. But, something. Hot Heart
I'll put it here so maybe it's easier to notice. Sporkwaffles, Skoshuke and I are up for a four-pack of Iron Brigade on Steam. So there's one spot open for anyone interested. Currently, it's 20% off and splitting the pack makes it about $8.99/£5.73 each. Which is pretty good by my reckoning! CrowKnow
I'd be interested in the 4th spot if you still haven't found anyone.
Luftwaffles
I'd be interested in the 4th spot if you still haven't found anyone. We have not. Add me on Steam and we'll work out details. Hot Heart and Sko are probably sleeping right now, as they're UK, but I can buy it tonight or tomorrow for sure.

Only just got my PayPal up to date but it should be working (still waiting on some e-cheques to clear because I didn't do that first. Oops). If you PM the amount and your email, I can sort that out, and I don't mind if you want to check it clears before sending it over.

TheRevanchist
In case OnLive really isn't shutting down, this might be good for someone. http://slickdeals.net/f/5062208-Onlive-s-Second-Indie-Weekend-Giveaway
Faiblesse Des Sens
Odd, I wonder if I can play Space Chem on my phone via OnLive since the Space Chem app won't launch.
TheRevanchist
It was confirmed that some major shake ups went down at OnLive. Support might not be there for a bit while the new owners get situated. Could be a good thing in the long run, but suck in the now.
Faiblesse Des Sens
They've said nothing that indicates the service will change right now. In fact they've said the opposite.
TheRevanchist
I have hear they laid off everyone and started "rehiring" people. But, rumors. What do we know really?
Faiblesse Des Sens
Did you read OnLive's statement? http://www.theverge.com/2012/8/17/3250589/onlive-official-layoffs-statement
TheRevanchist
Interesting. This really isn't an acquisition. This seems like the rights to all OnLive properties were sold and the employees were let go. Then, the new company hired a bunch of the people back. Sounds like a way to reduce the workforce and probably give some pay cuts out, essentially, as you "hire" with less pay. At least, that is how I interpret this. So, any idea who the mystery company is?
