toxicitizen
Really tempted to get that one for Crossworlds. And I've wanted to try the Men of War games for a while.
Faiblesse Des Sens
I'm boycotting them until they release a "Women of War" series.

danielpholt
To those interested; Amazon.co.uk is now offering downloadable games much in the same way they do with Amazon.com. http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/feature.html/ref=bt_atcg_mine_cta?docId=1000738123&ie=UTF8&plgroup=1&pf_rd_m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_s=center-2&pf_rd_r=1EQQJGTKZXA1S51DGPAE&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=419145787&pf_rd_i=2683271031
Faiblesse Des Sens
The Bridge is on sale for 60% on Steam. I emailed the dev about price-matching it via the Humble Store and he said this: "The Steam sale today was planned on very short notice, and unfortunately by the time I get in contact with the folks at the Humble Store it'd be too late for the discount anyway. Regardless, all that the Humble Store sells is a Steam key (that's our only distribution option at the moment). One note is that it's also available on Amazon for 60%, which has the same distributor-to-developer profit split as the Humble Store if you're interested in that option: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00CHRFL6C/ref=hy-tab2-dvg-bridge?pf_rd_p=1593428602Thanks, Ty" So huh, Amazon has a better distributor-to-developer profit split than Steam? Interesting. We know it's 5% for the Humble Store.
deanb
Yeah Amazon has had their sights on Steam for at least a year now, they're just being a tad slow with expanding thier global range so far at the moment. It'll be interesting to see who wins out (if either will)
TheMightyEthan
Oh, I'll be sure to buy more things through Amazon then. They're also nice for preorders because unlike Steam you can cancel it until the code is actually delivered (I THINK, if you try this and it doesn't work I take no responsibility). deanb
You can cancel Steam pre-orders too. It's just getting harder because of the new "alpha" games thing they do that pretty much counts as released.
TheMightyEthan
How do you cancel it?
toxicitizen
By contacting support and asking them nicely. It's far from ideal since it absolutely has to be before the game releases, so if you have a last second change of heart and support takes too long to reply then you're shit outta luck. TheMightyEthan
Yeah, that's not a real cancel option. I mean a "cancel" button on the order page.

TheMightyEthan
I thought it was one of those where there's a free (ad-filled) version and a paid (not-ad-filled) version.

Faiblesse Des Sens
I thought it was one of those where there's a free (ad-filled) version and a paid (not-ad-filled) version. Just checked and it looks like it's purely free to play and they're banking on IAPs for profits.
