Shadow of Mordor at $33. Also 33% off the season pass if that is your thing... I'm personally debating but I've been burned enough with that junk to be cautious. Though (eventually) fighting Sauron sounds mighty tempting.

Edit: Actually, it is be cheaper (~$28) at Nuuvem.

Same goes for the season pass but the saving isn't as much but if you get the Premium Edition then I guess it'll be a bigger saving? I'm too lazy to do the math.

From 19-25 November, Nectar is offering "double up" vouchers. You can spend up to £20 of nectar points for a  £40 voucher per department so that's roughly the price of a game. I'll definitely be having a look and hoping they have fantasy life there, or maybe AC Rogue as I usually wait for those to be around £20.

seems like a good deal for anyone in the UK looking to get a PS4? Not sure if that's anyone here though. £350 for:

Playstation 4 Console

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare

Minecraft

Battlefield 4

Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes

Wolfenstein The New Order

What the fuck is an amiibo?

It's a figure you use with Super Smash Bros WhatevertheWiiUversioniscalled that has an RFID or something like it inside and an AI character associated with it. You can level up the AI character, customize it, play against/with it and other things.

So instead of having some sort of easily exchangable online handle they sell you an action figure? Brilliant marketing move.

Wii U has regular user names, and amiibos have nothing to do with online handles. What are you on about?

Why can't they simply just tie this to your account like every other game where you can create your own AI to fight other people?

Oh right. Nintendo is broke. Well, probably not anymore this year.

I agree with you.  From the Super Smash thread:

Because Skylanders.

*Edit* - To elaborate, for some reason people are willing to pay $25 for something like that if it's tied to a physical figurine when the exact same thing but $5 and software-only would be considered a bullshit microtransaction.
