Mister Jack
Wow, how is this place so cheap?
danielpholt
I imagine they take less of a cut from each sale than the likes of Steam, and they buy the codes in bulk so they can lower the price on the consumer end? Either way, I've been using them for years and never had any trouble. I think you can buy without worrying about them pulling a GMG on you. Mister Jack
What's wrong with GMG? Granted, I only bought from them one time, but I didn't have any problems back then.
TheMightyEthan
Yeah, what's wrong with GMG?
danielpholt
Didn't they recently get into some hot water for buying dodgy codes?
TheMightyEthan
The codes weren't dodgy, they were valid codes, they just bought them from a third-party distributor instead of direct from the publisher. People on Reddit decided to get up in arms about that for some reason, claiming they were "unauthorized codes" when it was just that GMG wasn't specifically authorized by the publisher to sell those codes. But the codes were bought legitimately by the third-party distributor from the publisher, and then bought from that distributor by GMG. As a result of this GMG now publishes on each game's page where they got the code. tl;dr: the only people GMG ever got in hot water with were the moderators on a game deals subreddit, they never actually did anything wrong, and now they publish the source of the code so you can be confident of that.
Mr. GOH!
I trust GMG over cdkeys. But I do buy codes on cdkeys when it's the cheapest. Edit: I plan to buy FC: Primal using cdkeys, even. Once I'm finished with Stardew Valley, of course. Mister Jack
If you were interested in Vermintide, here's a site that's selling steam keys for 18 dollars. The catch is that this site only sells one game per day and the deal disappears after 24 hours, so if you want it at this price then this is your only chance. https://chrono.gg/tb edit: If you're worried about the site's reputation, TotalBiscuit says they're legit. I don't know if his word means anything to you or not, but he is a major Youtube personality and if the site wasn't legit then he would probably get into a huge amount of trouble with his audience. TheMightyEthan
Snagged all 3. Surely at $0.10 a pop they're losing money on the credit card fees?

TheFlyingGerbil
365games.co.uk has a 10% off code for all board and card games, use code "GAME" at checkout for the next seven days. Don't know if it's a good selection or prices as I know nothing about board games but I've used them several times for video games where the prices were good and delivery fast so may be worth a look.
deanb
I'll have a looksy. I should probably get into online board game buying than relying on local stores. Hot Heart is always like "I picked this up cheap on eBay" n I'm sat here with my Discworld n Abyss. (A wee price check, CAH is the one that stuck out for me, they're a bit over priced for a bunch of games compared to Amazon even discount included so maybe worth price checking between the two if there's any you fancy.). TheFlyingGerbil
I hope they're not one of ode companies that hike up all their prices/cancel reduced prices when they have a wide scope code to give out as that's pretty shitty.

Eleven
Anyone remember if there was a PS+ half-off sale on black friday (or anytime, really) last year? I still have 1 more year of PS+ that I got from Amazon for half-off a few years ago, I believe it was 2013 or 2012. I don't know if I just missed it cause from Amazon reviews it seems there was one last year.
TheMightyEthan
There's currently a big flash sale on the Playstation store, lots of stuff on sale and all of it's for under $5. I have no idea if it's multi-regional or not. Highlights: Murdered: Soul Suspect Thief Killzone: Shadowfall
