deanb
http://www.impulsedriven.com/sinstrinity?ref=impmail Gamestop having a fire sale of Stardock titles. I may pick this up myself.
NeoStarr
If anybody knows where I can get Beavis and Butthead in Virtual Stupidity for less than Amazons hundred dollar price tag, could you pm me with the link? I can't even seem to pirate it. Thanks!
CorgiShinobi
I think this is Amazon's consistent price for the game, but Vanquish is $19.96 and eligible for free shipping. Of course, you'll have to buy something really cheap to get it over the $20 price point to get free shipping. Otherwise, you'll be paying a small shipping fee. Still pretty cheap because retail stores will have it for $30-$40. I figure I can use the wait while it ships to finish inFAMOUS 2 and save my $5 coupon for something else at Best Buy. EDIT: Actually, the free shipping is for orders over $25. With shipping, you should be under that price still. WTF
http://www.impulsedr...ity?ref=impmail Gamestop having a fire sale of Stardock titles. I may pick this up myself. I actually wanted to post this myself but forgot cause I was busy. Some titles worth getting are Sins of a solar empire trinity $10 or 6.08 quid which is actually cheaper than retail at the moment. Gal Civ 1 complete for 3 quid some Gal Civ 2 complete for 4 quid Demigod for 4 quid I believe And sword of the stars collection for 4.49 quid.
deanb
Demigod is £6. Which given Sins Trinity is same price, not so much worth it.
WTF
Yeah Demigod honestly isn't worth it even otherwise imho unless it's come in leaps and bounds since release. But there have always been people interested in that title. Sins is probably the best value that and Sword of the stars but that depends on individual tastes. There is a GoG sale from today onwards. Probably as always US Monday times.
NeoStarr
Yeah, it's interplay games. Not bad deals either. Fallout, Redneck Rampage (the whole collectoin), MDK, Battle Chess, Earthworm Jim, etc. All for $3 bucks. I might just skip coffee today and grab one of those instead.
Saturnine Tenshi
It's too bad Interplay lost the rights to Icewind Dale. I'd rather have that over their other published titles. I doubt my physical copies work on Windows 7.
NeoStarr
Has anybody played that Stonekeep game? Looks interesting; but in the way that it could either be really great or really awful. Dunno if I wanna take a chance on it or just grab one that I know; like MDK or Messiah. It's too bad Interplay lost the rights to Icewind Dale. I'd rather have that over their other published titles. I doubt my physical copies work on Windows 7. Aren't GoG games just the originals with DOSbox or some similar program? I think you could get it to run. Also; you might be interested in this; http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/lionheart_legacy_of_the_crusader EDIT: Apparently use use this to run Icewind Dale on Windows 7... http://www.gibberlings3.net/widescreen/
Saturnine Tenshi
Man, I haven't been to Gibberlings 3 in a while. Thanks. <: Now to just get around the horrible on-line infrastructure. I might pick up Lionheart... going to look further into it.
WTF
All I want from GoG is a further reduced price on Arcanum - thing is I already own 2 physical copies. I know I could sell them and buy the digital but nah. I'll wait for a sale even though it is cheap because I'm spending too much as is. Fortunately it was interplay and I own most of their games on physical media already. I own Sacrifice, Evolva and Kabuto through something called the monster box (think it was a UK collective release) and I know I've Messiah, MDK1 and 2 somewhere (no urge to play through them again). Honestly I was a big fan of those games back in the day. I remember finding the fact that in MDK2's intro the aliens were going to bomb/attack Edmonton which was where Bioware was (I actually got a job there once nearly a decade ago now). Back when they were not always publishers and games weren't too bad. Sigh I even remember having to upgrade my PC since my card didn't do T&L for Kabuto. It was a Riva TNT2 16MB and then I switched over to GeForce. All that fuss over Voodoo and Creative (who only mainly do soundblaster now)
