NeoStarr
would Fallout 1 be worth getting guys? Still hold up today? *screams excitedly in approval* I did end up grabbing Stonekeep as well and I actually really like it. I think it might be a better dungeon crawler than Eye of the Beholder. excel_excel
Cheers lads got it there! Damn its old feeling though. Seems Fallout 1 and 2 are prime for HD-makes
Faiblesse Des Sens
Call me crazy but I want an Android version of both. Phones would need a re-do so it could work on a smaller screen... but a tablet? It'd be awesome. NeoStarr
After your first playthrough I recommend trying it again and doing new things. It's fairly short when you know what to do, and gameplay changes a lot with small character tweaks. Try it with really low intelligence, try it addicted to drugs, try it as a female, try it as a pacifist, etc. The writing in both games is way ahead of its our time, and you rarely ever get the exact same interactions with people twice which will often lead to you finding out all kinds of stuff you didn't know about before. I second the portable Fallout notion. When I first played that StarCraft port for DS I think my first thought was "they should totally do this for Fallout!"

WTF
For you UK/EU folks. I know zavvi is terrible with delivery for many, but if you want to take a gamble - MS: Pacific Rift has hit £17.85 already. Dispatched in a month (but might be a lot sooner or later, you know how they are).
Hot Heart
You mean Apocalypse. I figure Pacific Rift would be much cheaper by now.

WTF
So GMG are giving away three games via the SUN. Now you don't need to buy that tripe to buy those games. Just head to green man gaming and add the game with the relevant code and voila there you go free game. It's applicable regardless where you are. For ARMA 2 the code is THESU-NFREE-ARMA2 For Men of War the code is THESU-NFREE-MOFW2 For Tower Bloxx Deluxe the code is THESU-NFREE-BLOXX Notes: You need to buy them individually. I got Arma 2 and MoW earlier today when few people heard about it, but the site might be getting hammered now if HUKD managed to get their grubby hands on it...

Yantelope
after refreshing 5 tabs repeatedly I was able to get a code for Arma II. Any way to make it work without downloading their client?
DarkMalice
If anyone's interested, just found this on gametrailers http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/fun/gaming/3681414/games-for-gratis.html Get a puzzle game, Men of war, and what I believe is the paid version of ArmA 2 for free
WTF
In more deal news, while I was too late in bringing the deals of Deus Ex Collector's Ed [with the figure] (from blockbuster.co.uk) which was being sold for £35 or below (managed to snag the PC version) and Mass Effect 3 (PC) at £14.99 from Bee.com. If you are interested in Child of Eden and live in Euro land hurry before they fix it XD. Child of Eden for the PS3 can be preordered from play.com for the sum of £14.99 and guess what they throw in a free T Shirt too. I'm sure looking at the 360 sales despite being in charts sort of they know the demand is low so I suggest get it at the price if you want to preorder @Yant Unfortunately you'll need to download their client to get the install though the client is useless after the game has been activated. The capsule client is pretty useless that way. However if you can get a digital download from elsewhere the Key you got from GMG should work. It's not steam redeemable unfortunately. Luftwaffles
after refreshing 5 tabs repeatedly I was able to get a code for Arma II. Any way to make it work without downloading their client? Unfortunately the key they gave doesn't look like it registers on steam, so I guess we have to go through Capsule. I've used it before, though, it's fairly unobtrusive and it does have enough features (i.e. doesn't start your DL from the beginning when you pause/unpause it.) You mean the other way around don't you It doesn't have enough features and it does start your DL from the beginning when you quit client or pause. Yeah I think the DL manager for them is a bit shite. But after install/reg it's useless and you could run the game from its exe. I bought Mark Leung's game from there. Everything else is a freebie. Honestly, it's been a long time since I used it, you may be right. I know it's small, though, and memory usage seemed reasonable for a downloader (a lot less than Steam). I might have to give it another shot, as ARMA II is a fantastic game, but I have quite a backlog of steam games to sort out from this sale so ARMA might have to wait.
