TheMightyEthan
Average hours is skewed way high on the DS, because the only game I beat for that is Pokemon White. The game I put the most time into is Kingdoms of Amalur on the PC at 86.2 hours. PC is also obviously my most prolific platform, though in terms of Games per Month the PS4 is almost as high since I only had it for a month and a half. Overall, of all the games I beat, I spent an average of 18.4 hours per game, for a total of 645 hours. That does not include games I played but did not finish. The average age of a game when I beat it was 261 days or 8.6 months. Obviously I've got some old games dragging that upward, like Bioshock which was almost 6 years old, and Bioshock 2 which was more than 3. The median age is 63 days, or just over two months. TheMightyEthan
As far as my backlog goes, I started out with 20 games, added 21 throughout the year, and removed 34 of them (whether because I finished them or lost interest), for a total of 7 remaining at the start of this year. The length of time a game was on my backlog before removal was not quite 6 months, with the median being just 1.5 months. Just like with the games I beat, I've got some quite old games dragging the average up, like The Witcher and Bioshock. My average playtime before removing a game from my backlog was 11.6 hours, with the median being just 5.5 hours. There are some short games in there bringing it down, but also some games I just lost interest in very quickly. Notables are Alpha Protocol, which I only played for 1 hour, Transformers: War for Cybertron, which I only played for 1.3 hours, and New Super Luigi U, which I only played for 0.4 hours. Backlog going into 2014 is: The Witcher 2, PC, added 12/24/2011 Dark Souls, PC, added 10/28/2012 Far Cry 3, PC, added 12/4/2012 Sleeping Dogs, PC, added 12/25/2012 Splinter Cell: Blacklist, PC, added 12/22/2013 Gnomoria, PC, added 12/24/2013 Long Live the Queen, PC, added 12/29/2013 The average length of time a game has been on my backlog right now is 9.3 months, with the median being at 12.3. This time the average is actually being dragged down by the last three games, which I just got in the last week or so. *Edit* - It just occurred to me that all but one of those games (Dark Souls) I got during a Steam Christmas Sale. TheMightyEthan
Backlog and Games I've Beat. I've also got the blank ones ready to go for this year, but I figure the filled-in ones will be more helpful for others to figure out the formatting.
jayc4life
Going back through my Raptr account, the games I've beaten were: Gone Home The Stanley parable (I think? I've seen a few endings over the 2 hours I've plaeyd, screw it I'm calling it done) Grand Theft Auto V Batman: Arkham Asylum Sleeping Dogs Gunpoint Saints Row IV Grand Theft Auto IV (Replayed on PC, had finished it on PS3 before) Telltale's The Walking Dead Eversion Bastion (About damn time) Magicka (a few DLC stuff that I didn't play the first time, while farming for Steam Trading Cards) That's a lot more than I thought I did. Whoa.
toxicitizen
Entire year's worth of games. Asterisks indicate games I had already beaten before, which turned out to be a much smaller amount than I expected, even including stuff like GOTY editions when I had played the original release. I don't have fancy charts because I'm not a nerd. Also, and more importantly, because I didn't bother keeping track of anything other than completion date.
