deanb
So who wants to play some Dota 2 this weekend? My suggestion would pretty much be as and when you've got a bit of free time and wish to fill it with Dota 2-ness just hop into PXOD steam chat and go "who wants to play Dota 2?" and we'll likely get a game going and snowball from there. Want to see how it goes without setting up a specific time (As some folks feel if they can't be there immediately they'll not come at all when in the end it tends to be more natural build-up than that). Also if you wish to play and don't have the game yet just pipe up and one of us can likely furnish you with a copy as there's about 20 or so floating about between us. deanb
Folks up for some DOTA2 this weekend? What day might be best? What time(include timezone)? Basically want at least 5 guys really, that makes a team. 6 means 3vs 3 and increments of 2 on top of that mean 4vs4 n 5 vs 5.
MetalCaveman
I'm up for it, any day works for me, my timezone is GMT -6 or CST or whatever. I'm pretty much available all day so just let me know.
Chronixal
Spoke with the missus. Both she and I would be both pretty up for hoping on board, though we'd both need some lovely person to provide some keys...
deanb
Huh, could have sworn I gave you a key before now. There's likely some still splashing around. I kind of have one, but it's earmarked for a friend, though it's via Hakidia, he may have some more still left.
Chronixal
Dan being the bossman he is has just gifted me one copy, so if I can bag a second, that'd be awesome but if that's not an option I'll put my hand in my pocket and buy Lauren's copy. deanb
Last I counted around the turn of this month the members of this forum had around 47 invites between them, a fair chunk may be gone (all mine have) but there should be some lying around. Mr. GOH!
Anyone up to help a total n00b learn to play DOTA 2 some weeknight next week?
Mercurial
Sure.
Mercurial
Do any of you want to form a team?
deanb
As in a proper team to kick butt across the dota-sphere? I'd say personally not myself. I think Mason might, he seems to be feeling pretty confident in his growing skills.
Chronixal
As much as I enjoy the game playing amongst friends, I don't think I'd fancy playing proper online.
deanb
Folks be fine with setting up Dota 2 amongst themselves tonight yeah? I'm gonna play something else for a bit.
