Not sure if anyone of here is into this sort of thing but I've found a few handy websites that make navigating the games....user created content vacuum a bit easier.

Nook Island

They offer a catalogue of user-uploaded designs that you can add into your game via the kiosk in Able Sisters. Why this isn't built into the game I don't know (I do know; Nintendo) but it absolutely should be.

This tool lets you upload pretty much anything into the game in the form of shirts, wall art, paths etc etc. I uploaded a rather glorious image of Jeremy Corbyn to use as my islands flag. It's not perfect (and you need the Nintendo app on your phone to use it) but again, in place of Nintendo offering this sort of thing it's a pretty decent gap-fill.

What if someone combined Animal Crossing's catalogue of items; Furniture, Items, Recipes etc etc.....and Amazon? You'd get this. Truth be told, I've not really had a chance to dive into it yet, but if you're desperate for that mother-fucking-iron chopping board then this is likely your best bet of getting it without having to go down the reddit hole.

For the Stalk Market. I tried it out last week and it was accurate. Sadly I had my first good night of sleep on Saturday night so I wasn't able to buy any turnips on Sunday to test it out for this week. I delayed upgrading my house for a week because I have a good night's sleep.

You gotta play the stalk market, m'dude!

This was the first time my island was selling for a profit. I usually have had to go over to my fiancee's island where I sell for a small profit. This time it was massive! Right now they're selling for 171, but I'll check in a little bit for the afternoon prices.

I think at least couple comes per night. Usually a handful an hour if they appear. I wouldn't wait for it though. Just stop if you hear one coming since they comes in at least pairs. For me it's enough to get a few wands and a stockpile going.

Now, for meteor showers, you can get SO MANY. Celeste will show up AND the villagers will comment on it. I've had Celeste show up to nothing a few times. MOST INFURIATINGLY THOUGH, is that if it rains the next day it can wipe out any star fragments coming to shore. The other night I finally had a meteor shower with like 100 or so per hour. Then yesterday I was going to binge collect, which I kind of did in the sunny morning but then it started to rain and I got nothing after that. I only got like 8 fragments. I've gotten more from a regular, slightly more active night... I'm mad. I would've been more so if I didn't have a stockpile already.

A silver lining to yesterday was at least Flick came by and I made bank come nightfall. Paid off a loan a few days early, got a bridge done and doubled my funds (1.5 million Bells) for the Stalk Market tomorrow.  Now I have about another one million Bells to pay off... hopefully next week's Stalk Market gains will cover it all. If ya'll ever see 200+ Bells for turnips then please @me here or at Discord.

How many you need? I'm not using them yet.

As for me, I'm possibly looking at a steadily decrease in turnip prices this week so I might need to go to another island to dump my turnips. I'll be checking with my brothers as well. I got a lot of turnips (1.5 million bells worth) to go through so it'll be multiple trips. I need at least 101 bells each to break even.

I'll probably know for sure tomorrow if my Stalk Market is screwed.

My prices may have been an early week spike. Monday evening it was 144 Bells, but this morning it was 143. Using both turnip calculators, the highest I could have received this afternoon was 154 Bells. However, there was the potential for a massive drop, so I sold at 143.

This afternoon it went to 110, which was my buying price! I'll keep an eye out, but I don't know if my island will be viable this week.

EDIT: My fiancee's island is at 505 Bells! She didn't check this morning, so I'm not sure if it was just this afternoon or the whole day. I was so shocked!

But anyway, are you guys excited for the update this week?!

WOOO, my brother managed to get a sale price of 516 bells and I managed to move a majority of it before it fell to 165. Made a tidy profit so I can do some major upgrades now. Hopefully next week will be better for my own island. Moving back and forth to another island is such a hassle, especially when other people are coming and going.

Edit: Oh... my price started to go up this afternoon. I probably will have a massive spike tomorrow...
