Saturnine Tenshi
I just spent 1,000,000 on a crown. *folds arms*
Mal
I got a 2nd floor and will soon have a basement. With the basement, I finally not able to pay off my loan in one go. Time to do a little bit of everything!
FMW
For some reason, my 3DS clock is ahead 48 hours. I discovered that after setting up my Animal Crossing town because hell, I'd never had reason to look at the date on the 3DS previously. And now that I'm playing Animal Crossing daily, I don't wanna mess with the settings. I like to keep my continuity intact. So what this means is that I got to enjoy the first seasonal Fireworks festival last night! It was thoroughly delightful. Also, the missing Elise is getting replaced today! Can't wait to see what sort of animal has moved in now!
Mal
I wish we could make bells while the 3DS is in sleep mode... something like the Play Coins.
FMW
You can! Put your bells in the bank account, and then leave your system for a year. Don't even need to keep the system in sleep mode
Mister Jack
So are people here still into this game? I'm considering it but I don't want to get it just when everyone else is moving on from it.
Mal
I forgot to save before I turned off my 3DS... I'm scared to go back in but yes, I'm still playing. I just need to gather up the courage to go back in... t-thats all! ... Lets do this. Time to be scolded like a kid in this second life. Edit: Can I fucking kill the fox? That god damn con artist. Mal
That is what I do as well. Once or twice a day. Again, second life.
TheFlyingGerbil
still playing it every day. I'm sure it will drop off eventually, but I'll always come back to it. Also, you don't have to play every day but people seem to play more often and for longer than they thought they would.
Mister Jack
Is there a way to send things to other towns without going there directly and dropping it on the floor? I GOT ME PEACHES BUT I NEED MORE FRUIT.
TheFlyingGerbil
you can send letters (with presents attached) to best friends without having to visit them, i think.

TheFlyingGerbil
Hmmm. I bought over 100,000 bells of turnips and took all my stuff off tables and display stands. Put the turnips on and thought I'd wait for a good price. Was not super happy to discover they've fixed that glitch and I now have spoiled turnips all over my house and museum and a lot of bells down the drain. I'm only glad I realised this as I was going to buy a load of tables and have a dedicated turnip table room in the museum!
TheFlyingGerbil
I completed my fossil exhibit today Not sure if I get any sort of reward for all my philanthropic endeavours to educate the population of Koholint. But that is not why I did it (it sort of is).
TheFlyingGerbil
Woohoo. Finally got Lychees - I got all the other fruit in the first few weeks between visits to the island and other players and deliberately waited for the shop to upgrade to the emporium to get the persimmons but I just never struck lucky with the lychees. I had fun on Halloween though felt a bit guilty scaring the villagers I liked It also meant I had to talk to the villager I'm trying to get rid of which means she's going to be here even longer - it's super frustrating as she seems to be the only one that doesn't try to leave. At the moment I'm picking mushrooms to complete that furniture set. I did eat one of the special mushrooms, which everywhere on the internet says makes you double in size for a few moments. I thought it sounded unlikely and as I feared nothing happened. That wouldn't be so bad but for the fact they sell for 16,000 bells at re tail. I'm also buying the harvest set, though I have a feeling you'll be getting that free during the harvest festivities - which is what happened with the spooky furniture on halloween but I'd rather be safe than sorry. My only problem at the moment is I only have a couple of living things left to catch but they're all spring/summer things and as I don't time travel it is super frustrating to be so close but have to wait half a year. I'm trying to find out if I can get them on the island or if it only looks sunny all year but still has creatures seasonally. Anyone else still playing? Little Pirate
I've been so engrossed in Pokemon I've abandoned my village (save for Halloween to get the spooky/creepy item sets). When I went back to check on it, it was overrun with weeds, some of my fruit trees had died and left trails of rotten fruit. My character's hair had also gotten dirty and mangy. And two villagers have moved out in my absence. When I spoke to residents, they all assumed I had been kidnapped/having a feud with them and wasn't speaking. Town approval had dropped significantly. I am a failure as a mayor.
TheFlyingGerbil
lol, I'm sure the remaining villagers all made you feel suitably guilty. If you think you're not going to be playing it as often any more you should put the beautiful town ordinance in to effect that way even if the villagers all hate you at least you won't be confronted with all the weeds which can put you off going back. TheFlyingGerbil
So my 3DS activity log has me at over 300 hours as of a couple of weeks ago and though I'm not sure how it actually counts that it still means I've been playing a lot! It's more than I've played any other game that's for sure, that's ever not just on 3DS. And even though I've been playing all that time and pretty much buy everything I don't think I already own I only just got the badge to say I've completed 50% of the catalogue. There must be so much stuff! I'm guessing nobody is playing it regularly any longer but I wonder if any of you pick it up at all?
Mal
I lent my copy to my brother since he has no games. SOON.
TheFlyingGerbil
hopefully he gets bored of it soon as most people seem to. Mind you if he hasn't any other games to move on to... Anyway, I hope your villagers don't guilt you too much when you get back! After just realising last week that you don't customise furniture colour with ores I've done my downstairs main room and am on to my bedroom next. Only trouble is I can't decide which colour to go for so I made a chair in each colour to help me decide. Still not sure. Can't believe I'm this indecisive about a paint colour in a video game

TheFlyingGerbil
Hey guys, it's Festivale today, so if you only play occasionally make today that occasion. I'll put some more updates in later tonight after work - I know you can't wait!
