What are you listening to now?

OMG! Wilt! They're from my hometown! I used to listen to them jamming in a garage the whole time. I'd be walking to the shop and on my way back I'd stop and sit on the wall in front of the garage just listening to them play! Man, I totally forgot about them. Thanks for the good memory!

Wow, that's awesome. I remember seeing them way back in 2001 or 2002 (I think it was the latter because everyone knew Distortion), supporting Less Than Jake or Reel Big Fish, before I knew who they were and they were pretty cool.

Ireland do have some good bands. Really, really love The Upgrades and it's a shame I never got to see them.

Lot of fond memories of music and gigs in 2002.

Woah, I completely forgot those guys existed. I remember really liking that song Kung-Fu that they did (featured in Rumble in the Bronx), and also kinda dug Jack Names the Planets on the Angus soundtrack. Wasn't that into them when I picked the album (I think it was called 1977?) up though. I remember hearing about them showing up at some Hollywood-ish event and getting totally wasted and puking all over, so they're at least kinda cool in my book.

1977 is a really good album. I really like that and Free All Angels (although, that has some dreadful tracks). A lot of the early stuff is quite good whereas later on they only had a few good singles.

That track is from their first (mini) album though. Called 'Trailer' to state the obvious.

I might give it a shot again. your mention of the album Free All Angels made me remember that there was another one on the album I dug, Angel Interceptor. I'll probably dig the CD out tomorrow and throw it on the old MP3 player.

1977 is an odd mix of pop sensibilities with a sometimes grungy feel whereas Free All Angels has a more straightforward pop-rock feel.

I figured everyone knew this song.

This is a later track people may recognise either from Shaun of the Dead or Burnout 3.
