Also: yesssss @ Hot Heart.

Yessss as in you like the video or the song, or both?

Love this. Makes me think of a alt-rocked up Cream song. Which it sort of is in a way. Killer riff.

And for all intents and purposes, this is Queens of the Stone Age. You're not fooling anyone, guys.

Dam, I haven't listened to this album in years! I'm sure if I had my portable CD player from back when this came out, I'd be able to spot the imprint of the CD art on the inside of the lid.

Aaaand now I just discovered that they finally came out with a Blackout 2 in 2009.... So excuse me.

Whenever a discussion gets into the "best" artist, there's no consensus... For good male vocalists, I don't notice many, but I'd say

springs to mind. I'd recognize him right away. For uniqueness though, I have to give it to
from MSI.

'course that's just the American music industry. If we opened it up globally I'd have to consider guys like Kiyoshi Hikawa...

Can't believe these guys never got 'bigger'

OMG! Wilt! They're from my hometown! I used to listen to them jamming in a garage the whole time. I'd be walking to the shop and on my way back I'd stop and sit on the wall in front of the garage just listening to them play! Man, I totally forgot about them. Thanks for the good memory!

Keeping with the music of Kilkenny, here's some other tunes:

Never really liked them myself but they got popular locally.

Reko are new enough but they've done well enough for themselves in the short amount of time they've been together.

Slave Zero have gained quite a few fans throughout Europe but as far as I know, they haven't been signed yet.

And finally, The Kilkennys playing traditional Irish music to make up for the noise of Slave Zero.
