That album used to make me want to kick the shit out of things. In a good way. Burn It Up in particular made me want to bite someone's ear off in joy. Must calm down.... Coincidence that you posted that, as what I'm about to place here was introduced to me at roughly the same point in my teenage years.

Too bad I didn't dig either of the albums of theirs I bought back then. Oh well.

I've recently been listening to Skrillex (Sonny Moore) since about a month (or so) ago there was a concert a city over. One of my friends went and took some pictures. Then someone made a Scott Pilgrim vs. Skrillex music video.

I guess "Kill Everbody" was used for one of the Uncharted 3 multiplayer videos too.

Anyway, I began listening and I'm still a little on the fence. I did get "Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites" for $4.50, so definitely worth an exploratory listen. I heard Weekends on Pandora and I really like that song, but yeah; what do you guys think of Skrillex?

Skrillex is awesome.

I went to high school in the late 90s, and it seemed like there was some kind of taboo against liking techno... but I think it's awesome that good hard electronic music is finally getting popular! I've always liked bassy, glitchy or just hard sounding stuff but never thought it'd get mainstream acceptance. Mostly stuff like Squarepusher, Aphex Twin, Venetian Snares, The End, Chemical Brothers, Prodigy, KMFDM/Pig/MDFMK/Slick Idiot/Schwein, NIN, etc. These days there's still plenty to satisfy that taste, like Skrillex, TeddyLoid, Torqux, Shibayan, Syrufit, Alstroemeria Records, Justice, Doctor P, and the list goes on... I feel sorry for people who decide the only good music was from back when they were in school!

Initial D! Once in a while I'll still put on one of the soundtracks and drift around in Forza 3 with an AE86 or FD3S... such a fun and ridiculous show when you get to the races. To think it started as a comedy one-shot too...

Here's a folksy take on Touhou 12, stage 5. The

's done on an electric organ with klaxons going off in-game, but this is still strangely well fitting. (I'm also currently stuck continuing here... on easy. *cries* Damn you, mini-pagoda!)
