Listening to Deadmau5 right now thanks to Pheer. One of my favorite newly discovered groups.

Deadmau5 is a person (or rather, a persona - blah, blah, semantics). Not a group/band. Don't mean for that to sound condescending if it did. Just clarifying in case you didn't know.

On Topic:

Proper warning. It's YouTube so it's not exactly NSFW, but the video's content might make your stomach turn a little bit.

One of the best deceased bands in the recent decade, IMO.

Someone just posted this on #speakup over at Kotaku.

It's a remix of a song off a new album I guess.

I'm going to have to track that album down - their first had some pretty excellent tracks.

This remix might be better than the original version though - just watched the video for the original and it's very restrained, compared to this.

Hold on, I'm going to fish a couple of videos out of my Classical playlist on YouTube… http://www.youtube.com/my_playlists?p=FA927061BBF53CDA

This is a very epic piece by Georges Bizet that I've loved ever since I was a kid.

Honestly, this is the best rendition of Rustle of Spring that I've EVER heard. The impeccable speed of the intro played on the piano… I honestly haven't seen any other video of that play have that kind of repetition or graceful speed.
