fuchikoma
Earworm? Dunno about that, but the Kiyoshi Hikawa version of this has been popping into my head for a few days now... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7oJXktfJi4E  I'm afraid if I started belting it out, people would think realize I'm strange... Bah, not fooling anyone anyway... (゚д゚) "O---i! ♪"

Mal
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xl_rljOB4AE Girls und Panzer made me into a battle song junkie. I guess back in the day these would be great for motivating men to make the other guy die for his country. Now, they're sort of comedic. Might be the flutes. HOWEVER. The British Grenadiers is pretty damn awesome.

Mal
What the shit? Real life девочек и танк.Overriding it with this: To be fair to the US and Britain, this Soviet-era song was pretty much written as a huge fuck you to Nazi German. Then Operation Barbarossa happened then history followed this song as the Soviets ran to Berlin. Saturnine Tenshi
Is that a video from Transnistria? The ribbon she's wearing is red and green, and it seems to be the only country that speaks Russian with (only) those colors in its flag. Then again the folks at Koei have been playing in this sort of style for ages but I think it is fair to say they was heavily inspired by Killswitch Engage.@Saturnine - No idea.

deanb
EDIT: Also, Erasure sang Always? Lol... Didn't know that... Who did you think sang it? Â Anywho I have been listening to bunch of Bond songs (though I doubt I'll be seeing SkyFall in the cinema) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RTIu_wwxkQI Â Also listening to bunch of video game tracks. Not a huge fan of the game, but the track is pretty good.
fuchikoma
@MaliciousH: There's some awesome Russian choral music out there. A few years ago I went on a binge and grabbed a bunch of Red Army Choir stuff... Do you mean девочек и танк as in the anime? (Shouldn't that be in German? ) Is that show any good? ...it sounds ridiculous...  That Hokuto Musou track reminds me most of Daisuke Ishiwatari  Anyway, here's one that SoundHound found for me when I was watching the Simpsons Halloween Special... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VYPu4zWLWzs  I admit I'm an uncultured ruffian and first heard it in  While I'm talking about borrowed riffs... can anyone name the guitar part at 0:40 and 2:07 in this video? I'm sure it's from somewhere else but I've been searching for a good decade or so for the answer...
