TheFlyingGerbil
I bought Emmy the Great, This is Christmas album, and have been listening to Christmas music most of the day while we were putting the Christmas decorations up. Got all my shopping done so I can just enjoy the run up to Christmas now and am feeling pretty festive

deanb
Because I'm only this past week getting into the radio again I'm semi-new to this. Apparently Skyfall is the UK's highest grossing film, beating Avatar. (though Gone with the Wind is the most bums in seats, not that any of you give a damn)edit: Also thishttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b0AvWmmfQns Also due to recent videos:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qu0QO1za64E
Mal
Eeyup. Also they played the song I was thinking of, just no singing. Edited December 11, 2012 by MaliciousH
fuchikoma
MaliciousH, you're inspiring me to dig up the Red Army Choir stuff I have now... Incidentally, I learned that inhaling sulphur hexafluoride will make your voice sound super deep because it's so dense... but of course because it's not air, you can still asphyxiate if it's taken too far. (It's heavy stuff and will pool in the bottom of the lungs if it's not pushed out.) Funny this should come up now since I've been listening to Russian Circles lately... who are not Russian, but American...
fuchikoma
I know I just posted, but then I found this... To me it sounds sort of like something Primus would do, but more surreal... Knowing the stuff Team Meat, and mainly Edmund McMillen does, I'm sure it'll fit right in with the rest of it...

Faiblesse Des Sens
I had the realization today that this album is nearly 5 years it old. I heard it Febuary 2008 within the first month it was released... and realizing this has had a pretty emotional affect on me. It's been the most consistently listened to album in my library, it's been with me for lots of lows and some highs... I usually don't get so sentimental about this sort of thing but I can't think of an album that has had more of an effective on my life. Dan and Tim really tapped into something special with this album that they likely never will again. If you browse music forums you'll see I'm not the only one who reacts this way to the album. There's really nothing else like it.

Luftwaffles
http://vimeo.com/54704416 T'was Greg James (of BBC Radio 1) "Big Thing" last week. Their first album was pretty good. Didn't realize there was a second one.
Mal
Beastie Boys - So What Cha Want YEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAHHHHHH... (Sorry... Youtube stopped giving out conventional URLs that work here as far as I can tell...) Get rid of the "s" in "https". Anyways, I done Britain, Russia and maybe USA march songs. Time for a deep dark brother (Though Soviet Russia is rather dark too). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VwrAEPyTYt4 Erika is alright. I blame the sharp trumpets and other instruments. Now Panzerlied is just really neat. It really thrives on strong vocals.
Faiblesse Des Sens
http://vimeo.com/54704416 T'was Greg James (of BBC Radio 1) "Big Thing" last week. Oh shit they have a new album coming out? The first one was a freeleech on what.cd one time so I snagged it on a whim. It's not often pop clicks with me but that album definitely did. TheFlyingGerbil
I will be listening to this. Tomorrow Corporation are giving away the Little Inferno away for free. Several reviews mentioned the game had a great soundtrack.

Mal
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=abFSuKWYN-4 I feel that Sabaton's vocals really blends in with the instrumental. Its great for a background music for some ass kicking sequence.
