Mister Jack
Alright. We got a thread for good movies. Here's the thread to vent about the shitty ones that wasted two hours of your life or, worse, robbed you of ten hard-earned dollars (or twenty for DVDs...or thirty for blu-rays!). Spread the word so others may be spared!
xxnevmorexx
i watched universal soldier on netflix...i felt bad for the people who payed for it in theaters (though i think this movies from the 90's) i was even more horror struck when i saw it had ~4 sequels. Mister Jack
Movies with any more than two sequels are rarely a good sign.
King Jimmeh
Crank and Transporter. Jason Statham owes me about 3 hours of my life back. Luckily I haven't suffered any of the sequels.
Mister Jack
Some people like movies like that. Those people have no standards.
King Jimmeh
I don't mind daft action movies. I very much enjoy Rush Hour and Shanghai Noon. Crank and Transporter were just ridiculously over-the-top, and just crossed the line into being awful films. Fighting on oil, using bicycle pedals? Really? Strangelove
I hate jason statham movies too.
TheForgetfulBrain
Yeah, but this looks fun. Anyway, don't watch the Dreamers. Yes, you get to see Eva Green's hoo-ha's, frequently and in good focus, but you also get to see Michael Pitt's semi-flaccid wangdoodle, which is really not something I would ever have wanted to see. I hate that guy. Haaaaate. His horrible voice and horribly pretentious acting in that film are really, really grating.

diedan
I really disliked Cube. Oh, and I went and saw The Last Airbender despite knowing it was supposed to be one of the worst movies ever. It was. And Alien 3 is a shitfest compared to the first film. Salo or 120 Days of Sodom was a big waste of time. As was Bloodsucking Freaks. I watch a lot of shitty movies apparently...
Mister Jack
Why did you see Airbender? Why did you reward it with your money? I don't think anyone would have blamed you if you just pirated it.
diedan
I have no idea. It seemed like a good idea to my friend and I while we were out drinking one night and then suddenly some days later we were acting upon the decision. Poor judgement to be sure. Mister Jack
Friends don't let friends go see Airbender.

c hoertjes
Ballistic: Ecks vs Sever. To this day it is still the worst movie I've seen. And i went to see it in theaters!
RadiantViper
You know ... I don't think I've seen any truly terrible movies. Unless they have completely awful writing/acting/camerawork/etc., I find every movie has something worthwhile about it. I demand everyone watch The Room. It is the greatest crappy movie you will ever see.
diedan
Lies! Troll 2 is the greatest crappy movie you will ever see. (Also streaming on Netflix BTW.)
superfrogsavestokyo
The worst movie I've seen was Boogeyman. It's a horror flick starring Barry Watson. Bad CGI, acting, script, and cinematography. How it made it to the theaters instead of direct to dvd, I don't know. 12 of my friends went to go see it, and 5 of us fell asleep during the movie. My friend paid my way, and I apologized to him for paying.
RadiantViper
Lies! Troll 2 is the greatest crappy movie you will ever see. (Also streaming on Netflix BTW.) Ha, good point ... I think they would tie in the end. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mQ4KzClb1C4
diedan
Oh. My. God. Why haven't I seen that movie yet!? I was just trying to plug for Troll 2. This might win! There's a theater around me that does Saturday midnight shows of The Room. I should so totally go.

Pretty much every scene is priceless
diedan
You know it's going to be a great time when you have a hard time making it through a 2 minute clip. That looks super fun. Oh, also, Cheerleader Ninjas. What a terrible, hilarious movie. Not to be mistaken by Ninja Cheerleaders. (Yes, they somehow both exist.) But Cheerleader Ninjas needs to be watched with a group of people. I watched it by myself and it was much more terrible than hilarious. This thread is now about B-movies, apparently.
