Strangelove
Eww. They got one of the pastiest white boys ever to be Dr. Strange....goddammit. Edited October 28, 2014 by Strangelove
Alex Heat
From what I hear, Benedict is the strongest candidate, but he hasn't been officially confirmed yet. Â I don't really keep up with the news too well, but that's what I gathered from everything I've seen.
Mr. GOH!
My fantasy casting for Dr. Strange has been Chiwetel Ejiofor for a long time now.
madbassman39
http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=article&id=56670 Â Announcement of Black Panther, Captain Marvel, Avengers 3 (being a 2 part movie) Thor 3, Captain America 3, and Guardians of the Galaxy 2. Â Looking really fun actually, and I'm pretty excited. I'm actually nervous that Avengers 3 may actually become one of those movies with too much going on, which we saw what happens when you try to cram too many characters in a movie with Spiderman 3/Amazing Spiderman 2/X-men Last Stand and I'm sure there are others. I hope they manage to keep the cast small even if other characters just make a cameo.
TheMightyEthan
Avengers 3 (being a 2 part movie) Oh for fuck's sake.
deanb
Â Okay, bits of that sync up too well (though I think there's a bit of the song snipped out at one point)
Mister Jack
I'm actually okay with Avengers 3 being a two part movie for once. Â As far as I know, it's only loosely based on the War of the Infinity Gems storyline, so they aren't directly adapting those comics as much as taking inspiration from them. Â This gives them more freedom to use the extra screen time properly and not, say, cram the first half full of nothing but a bunch of fucking camping scenes. TCP
Assuming no one dies, potential Avengers roster Infinity War: Iron Man Captain America Hulk Thor Black Widow Hawkeye Quicksilver Scarlet Witch Black Panther Doctor Strange Captain Marvel Black Bolt Ant-Man Wasp? The Winter Soldier? Iron Patriot? Falcon? Plus Shield folks like Maria Hill, Nick Fury, Coulson, Mockingbird. PLUS..... potential appearance from the Guardians of the Galaxy. PLUS.... potential Defenders tie in with Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Daredevil, Jessica Jones.... Obviously not EVERYONE will pop up but a lot of the names I listed will. So yes, Avengers 3 being split into two is probably for the best.   Also where the fuck is my Nova movie? One day, Richard Rider.... one day... TheMightyEthan
I assume you understand why they can't make a movie about a guy named Dick Rider, right?
TCP
Dick Rider is just part of the charm!!  Ok so to recap:  July 17 2015: Ant-Man May 6 2016: Captain America: Civil War November 4 2016: Doctor Strange May 5: Guardians of the Galaxy 2 July 28, 2017: Thor: Ragnarok November 3 2017: Black Panther May 18 2018: Avengers Infinity War Part I July 6 2018: Captain Marvel (Carol Danvers!) November 2 2018: Inhumans May 3 2019: Avengers Infinity War Part II  Chadwick Boseman will be Black Panther and make his debut in Captain America Civil War (which sounds like a mini Avengers movie).
deanb
Â Â (it's only a spoiler if you've not seen anything about the comics and lack an imagination on where things are going)
toxicitizen
Oh man, I somehow never expected Avengers 3 to be a two-parter. That's fucking awesome. Â I kinda feel like they announced this way too early, though. I think I might be legit more pumped about Civil War than I am for Age of Ultron now. Probably because I know next to nothing about Ultron or any age that might pertain to him. Whereas, I know how insane shit is likely to get in Civil War. Alex Heat
I'm pretty excited for Avengers 3 since I love the Infinity Gauntlet stuff. Â Captain Marvel is also something I'm looking forward to (Carol Danvers, yeah!).
Faiblesse Des Sens
They need to move Civil War to after all of this for it to make any sense. How the fuck are they doing that story line so early? Unless of course they're just trying to kill Cap that fast. But still... why?
Mr. GOH!
Civil War in the MCU will be much smaller-scale than in the comics. Bet that it will turn out that Thanos or some other Big Bad manipulated Cap and Stark into gunning for each other.
madbassman39
Yeah, I kind of agree with FDS, the Civil War should be post Infinity War. I think that means Cap will survive the Civil War. I mean at some point though, 5 movies (Captain America 1-3/Avengers 1&2) with Cap doesn't seem to be too soon to kill off a character but for some reason he still seems new to this whole hero thing. TheMightyEthan
Wait, I thought Agent Carter was going to be direct-to-Netflix?
TCP
No, Agent Carter is taking Agent's of SHIELD's timeslot for the next couple months. Likely part of the reason was to prolong SHIELD so they can have it run directly into Age of Ultron in May. The Netflix series are all leading up to The Defenders, so it'll start with Daredevil. Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and Jessica Jones will follow, and then a Defenders miniseries. Â Edited January 3, 2015 by The Cowboy Poet
