deanb
Maybe useful for some. A rough overview of Civil War, though this'll likely never be like this in the film.

TCP
Nice, so I guess we'll be getting new seasons every spring and autumn. Daredevil season 2 in Spring 2016 and Luke Cage or Iron Fist Autumn 2016!
Hot Heart
Why didn't they just call it Alias?

Mr. GOH!
Been bingewatching Agents of SHIELD and Agent Carter. Man, they are mediocre in many, many ways, but they truly achieve an excellent hammy pulpy noir-lite sensibility above everything. They're dumb like 30's movie serials, and they just seem so low-budget and kinda dumb. I am enjoying them nonetheless. TCP
Season 2 of SHIELD is pretty good, especially the second half. I mean, it's not the best television you'll ever see but it's a significant step up from season 1.
Mr. GOH!
I started at episode 16 of season one and completed all of the second season. I watched and hated the pilot when it was new, too.
TCP
Season 3 premier aired last night, you should watch it if you haven't, quality wise it was pretty equal to the end of season 2.
Mr. GOH!
Plan to catch it tonight on DVR after I finish Agent Carter.
deanb
http://deadline.com/2015/10/marvel-damage-control-tv-series-comedy-abc-1201566243/ They're making a Damage Control sitcom. Damage Control being the company that rebuilds things after the latest super hero fight. Such as aliens in New York, cities being raised into the sky by robots or other aliens attacking Greenwich. They were implicated in initiating the Civil War in the comics by supplying a drug that enhances abilities (which lead to explosion of a chunk of town killing kids and blah blah read Marvel Civil War if you want). Towns being destroyed, heroes fighting each other. A lot of damage, a lot of construction contracts.
deanb
http://www.denofgeek.com/movies/fantastic-four/37372/fantastic-four-back-at-marvel-movie-planned-for-2020 Rumour is Marvel have Fantastic Four. The article says "back" but they never had it in MCU before now. Though at this point one wonders if the brand is pretty much fucked, and I think 2020 will take it out of the Phase 3 run too (and I'm not sure how well MCU will cope after Phase 3 ends). TCP
Another website called Collider is reporting that this isn't true. But they also claim that Fox always had the Xmen TV rights which is factually untrue. Soooo.... who fucking knows.
madbassman39
I saw the rumors this morning. I don't care for the Fantastic Four as heroes BUT Dr. Doom as a Villain? Yes please! If this is true the MCU will have Dr. Doom and Norman Osborn as villains.
TCP
Doom would be cool, so would Galactus. Those two could be natural villains for post-Infinity War Avengers movies. Silver Surfer would be cool for cosmic Marvel like Nova or Guardians. All of that sounds way more appealing than a Marvel produced FF movie. Mr. GOH!
Full trailer for Jessica Jones. Looks like it could be another good Netflix/Marvel team-up!

Mr. GOH!
Jessica Jones is fantastic. I cannot put my finger on it, but something about the Civil War trailer just doesn't sit well with me.
TCP
It's too awesome and you just can't handle it, much like the PS4.
deanb
I'd say my only issue with it is that for all that this will be the largest hero line-up to date, there was a couple of the bigger wider shots that were maybe a bit too wide and empty seeming (though I guess with the Avengers films Hulk n Thor can flesh out a lot of that space ). It being over Bucky makes sense within the storyline, still a shame we didn't have any cracks in Age of Ultron and this is potentially going to be largely self contained. I wonder if it'll make RDJ's Stark into as big a dick as he was in the comic version. Though a big failing with MCU is lack of a significant roster of proper villains (largely being just Loki, with Thanos brooding in the background) so can't do the whole trick of pulling in the Thunderbolts. This looks to be purely hero-on-hero. Got some T'challa shots too, though no Spider-man. Likely a late-game reveal a bit like Vision was (though in this case less of a "who is that?" from general audience). That Bucky & Cap Am beat down of Tony was pretty good though.
