Mister Jack
Activision has removed all reference to Crash Bandicoot from their website and when asked if they still owned the IP they said "no comment." The website for Spyro the dragon seems to be offline too.
TCP
Seems pretty obvious that Crash is coming back. Now if Spyro could be wrenched free from Skylanders and come back home to PlayStation, that'd be amazing.
Mal
Spyro would take a whole bunch of therapy and surgery to fix.
Mister Jack
I'm going to go out on a limb and say Playstation All Stars 2, which I'm on board with if they fix that dumbass point system that ruined the first game. Chronixal
Oh man, if they remade Crash 3 I'd give them all my money. Or standard price for a retail game, either or.
Faiblesse Des Sens
Why does it need a remake? I was playing it a few months ago and it holds up fine. Why do people always jump to "remake my favorite game!" instead of "do something new!" ? If you liked the game then what's so wrong with it to begin with that you want it remade? toxicitizen
Because being graphically dated invalidates anything else of value the game might hold. Duh!
Vecha
God...I would love a new Crash...that was actually reminiscent of old Crash. Just make a good classic platformer. Fucking Mario gets away with it!(I love Mario too).
Vecha
I don't want a remake...but I want a game that is in the same vein as the first few games. Call it something else...make it a new setting. But none of the shit sonic does(or crash did later in his "life")No beast form.No kinect shit.Just...a fucking old school platformer. Chronixal
I don't recall saying it'd be a one or the other situation, nor would I expect it to be. I would plonk down cash for a new Crash game in the vain of the originals. I'd also pay for a remade Crash 3. I don't see why that's so disagreeable. Waldorf and Statler
Fucking Activision. Have the games they made on the franchise sold all that well that they'd genuinely want to revive it? I wish Sony would offer to buy the franhicse back. Vecha
I doubt it...of course, no where near their other franchises that sell gangbusters.
Waldorf and Statler
I think this is more Activision keeping the property for the sake of keeping it, knowing that if Sony got it back it'd probably sell really well. They'll probably find a way to revive it ala Spyro with that new toy game.
Mister Jack
Just reading your post made me depressed.
Vecha
Yeah...same here.I want to like your comment W&S, because it it probably true, I just can't bring myself to hit "like."I hate companies. Even though I really shouldn't show any emotion, positive or otherwise, towards them.
