Can't really censure anyone for playing Zelda. |:< I'll be damned if I don't try, though!

Merill cannot stand on her bed in the new house, so sweet rolls end up whereever. Now that I've maxed enchanting, I've begun adding +magicka regen and +archery damage to all my equipment.

.... I can't enjoy other games?

I just came upon the realization that I could use my Gamestop giftcards online for Skyrim. (Or instore too but sometimes they don't have PC games out)

I AM SAVED. Now to hope for some discount this holiday season. I doubt it though but its not big deal. I have enough for a new game.

Alright, I could try to skim through a dozen thread pages, or ask the question now: Stormcloak or Imperial Army?

I haven't joined either side yet, but I was leaning toward Stormcloak. That is, well, whenever I talk to some Stormcloak soldiers, they come off like Nordic Nazis. I also spoiled a bit of the game for myself when I learned what happens to Whiterun if you take up Stormcloak. I would feel bad, not to mention I plan on marrying an NPC from Whiterun.

"Listen honey, I know this is your home and you have precious memories of it, but I'm gonna have to possibly wage a bloody assault on it."

Not really asking for advice, just wanted to see where the PXOD community puts their allegiance!

The Empire isn't the empire I grew up with. You say Stormcloaks are Nordic Nazis, the Thalmor are Imperial Gestapo. I had to spoil the bit about Whiterun because I ended up in that quest chain and as soon as it kicked in I got inheritance from an NPC in Whiterun. I checked the Wiki n then did a save backtrack. It seems not much changes, mainly the Jarl changes and....Lydia.

I didn't expect either side to be mostly good or mostly evil, but it was unsettling when Stormcloak soldiers would go into "Go Nords! GTFO everyone else!" I really only followed Ralof because he was a cool guy, whereas the other one kept calling me prisoner and ordering me around. Made a lot more sense to follow someone who would help you escape than someone who's probably only keeping you alive to screw you over later on.

My current complaint will be the bugged quest items. My Misc section especially now I have a dozen stones of Barneziah (only 6 have stacked), a lute(quest completed), a flute (also completed the quest), an alembic for I don't know who, two gauldur fragments and the final one I can't get because I killed it's owner before the quest started, and 6 amulets of Talos I can't drop. And maybe some others I can't remember atm.

Thankfully none of these weigh anything due to being quest items but god damn are they getting annoying to have to scroll past. It was the same with Oblivion too, thankfully the unofficial patches fixed it up. I'm hoping for the official ones to do it this time around.

Another minor quirk is unlike Oblivion you can no longer fast travel from your houses. Meaning I have to enter house, drop stuff off/stock up, then leave before I can go anywhere.

I've encountered some odd ones, but nothing game-breaking. Once, when going about the Thieves Guild repeatable to forge ledgers, the objective was situated on a box. The ledger was downstairs and its numbers were unassailable.

However, and this is a big however—can you not see the bold letters? The ruins north of the College of Mages reset for some reason. Now, that alone is negligible. BUT! BUT HOWEVER! HOWEVER BUT! It's where I accidentally killed the sweetest dunmer ever to mutter, "Hey Merill, let's go adventuring and do all the things adventurers do!" I gave Brelyna a proper burial with two sweet rolls and a long taffy in the tomb opposite the sacrificial slab. This set me about a quest to obtain Dead Thrall and bring the wonderful lass back. When I'd finally reached the point of learning the spell, I found her sleeping cozily in her Hall of Attainment nest. Returned to her tomb and the doors were re-locked, the sarcophagus re-sealed and only the treats remained.

I guess I'm a conjurer now, too.

Additionally: I've sent a message to Solitude.

I can't even get the quest for the flute to complete (I had it on me before I got the quest). Looks like she doesn't even recognize I have it. /sigh

I may or may not have mentioned but UESP is a great resource. They're slower at filling up on info but when they do it's shit tons better than the wikia. Namley because it includes work around for bugs:

http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Pantea's_Flute

(I'm assuming you're on PC version)

You still end up with the flute in your permanent possession though (just noticed the page has info on that too). Btw the bards college won't teach you to sing n play a lute, but god damn are their skill improvements decent. Turned in both the lute n flute and levelled up.

As for tombs resetting: They do that. So even if something is cleared it can still have stuff in several in-game weeks down the line.
