deanb
http://www.bethblog.com/index.php/2011/11/28/skyrim-1-2-update/ Patch notes. Seems most of them are sorting out the issues with the most coverage (PS3 getting FPS drops, the 360 version looking pants and the sound being iffy on PC) The bottom three are kinda nice, and I think Ethan will like the dragon bones going away. Still find the " Fixed occasional issue where a guest would arrive to the player’s wedding dead" issue pretty funny though. Not had it myself yet. Still not decided who to marry. Waldorf and Statler
Did they seriously not address the 'not being able to remarry' or the 'not being able to marry certain people' issue? Ugh. Somebody let me know if they did. Thankfully I am still immersed in Zelda.
deanb
They've not even fixed the R = deposit single item R = withdraw everything E = remove single item E = eat single item
CorgiShinobi
I want to marry Lydia. Me too! At least I have the PC version so I can use the console to bypass the bug, but it's still not perfect because there's a chance of Lydia walking away before the ceremony is completed. Oh, not to mention disappearing for a couple of days.

CorgiShinobi
For anyone who's interested in reading the books of Skyrim, but doesn't want to waste any in-game time doing so! http://capane.us/2011/11/24/dovahkiin-gutenberg/ P.S. You'll need an eReader of sorts.
TheRevanchist
I downloaded and read a few chapters, but it is hard to read when I have spare time to play. Best part is that it was free!
Cyber Rat
In regards to Sneak, does anyone else think it's overperforming? No min-maxing, played a regular stealthy/destruction char. Got sneak to 91, had an ebony dagger, boots that muffled movement and gloves that doubled sneak attack damage (total x30). This, together with almost all the other sneak perks and the Nightingale ability (turn invisible while crouching as long as power is active) makes you unbelievable powerful. Even without the Nightingale power, I can sneak, forward roll and instant kill any NPC from the front. Sometimes, I can be fast enough to do it on 2 NPCs standing next to each other. Oh, and snuck up on a dragon. Dropped him from full to 5% hp in one hit. I think something is really wrong with that...
deanb
How'd you do against snow cats and sabre tooths? And there is a lot unbalanced with Skyrim in the perk stuff. Cos I'm a mage I can drop most things before they get near me, meaning light armour skill is kinda low. And the only things tough enough to get close tend to hit like a brick shithouse. The whole enchanting/smithing/alchemy stuff too is like daaammmnn. I'm only just getting into the alchemy stuff seriously and I've got some half decent potions mixed up. Shame I don't use my weapons much, the -75 stamina, 100% magicka regen reduction, and -45 health poison nearly doubles the effect of molag-bal mace I have. And since I'm a mage most of my armour is robes, so 0 armour point. However my gauntlets n boots alone are enough to fend off most attacks. Gonna see on my next play-through what a mellee type does like.
Enervation
Sneak is really overpowered. It's so overpowered even my hulking Daedric-toting Heavy Armor brute can sneak around like a dartsy rat. It's ridiculous.
Saturnine Tenshi
Sometimes, I land in front of the enemy after a haphazard drop. They don't see me. Still, I don't think it's any more broken than anything else given the proper attunement.
deanb
So I'm now Arch-Mage. Is it me or did the quest chain feel really short? There was only like 3 locations (4 if you count the minor skirmish in winterhold). I thought it'd turn out to be something much bigger, especially considering the people involved. Hot Heart
Perhaps it's an over-Arching narrative.
Cyber Rat
How'd you do against snow cats and sabre tooths? Melee combat head-on: not so well. Tons of health potions used. I play this character without a mount, so I rarely get ambushed in the wild, making fighting stuff head-on a non-issue. The only thing that gives me trouble are random dragons, and only if I'm out of invisibility potions/powers.

TheMightyEthan
I can't get over the perfect timing with the dragon frying the dog right after it says "things got a little... heated."

TheMightyEthan
In seriousness though, I feel like quest NPCs should be immune from random ass shit like that. I mean, it's one thing if I kill the essential character, but it's quite another if a random world event does it. Although it might make up for it if that then puts in a dialog option for you to tell the master "I'm sorry, but a dragon ate your dog." TheRevanchist
I am going to respectfully disagree with the killing portion of your statement. That shit really adds some drama to the game, makes it feel more real. But, I do agree with your second statement. At least get some conclusion to the matter. deanb
As part of the Mara quests I talked the parents into allowing their daughter to leave with her lover. Many hours later I'm minding my own business when the courier comes up to me with a letter. It's inheritance. The daughter died on the way. deanb
For those with PC version may I suggest making a back-up of your save folder. (the 1.2 patch is eating saves.) And to cut johnny off: or sit tight if you're on a pirated copy.
