Eleven
I don't know why the ebony armor is so damn ugly... plus the helmet doesn't fit right, and you can see parts of your skin exposed. I liked the elven armor, the glass looks OK. The dwarven armor looks cool to me too, as well as the Imperial heavy and light armor. But i'm using an upgraded daedric (drank two potions of smithing + armor, boots, ring, amulet of smithing during the upgrade!). Now I have an Armor rating of 700+. Elder dragons can still eat me whole though.
Waldorf and Statler
You can upgrade steel armor to be better than non-upgraded ebony armor sure. But why not go ahead and make yourself daedric armor? While the design is [imho] something that came out of a twelve year old's lord of the rings wet dream, It's not too bad if you walk around without the helmet. Pirandello
Strangely enough, my first marriage is the only one that's worked correctly for me. It was Ysolda, and she now happily resides in Proudspire Manor where I occasionally pop in from time to time when not going on ADVENTURE! My second character's (thief dude) wife was Muiri, but something horribly bugged out and I can't seem to find her anywhere, not even in Markarth. On another note, though, I think it's pretty damn awesome that my Skyrim can run on high/ultra without a hitch despite my computer barely passing minimum requirements. Waldorf and Statler
I married Ysolda since she was frankly the first "not hideous" female marrying option and had no idea that the marriage glitch existed when a werewolf that was totally not me killed her. Now my character owns three houses, including the manor, and only has the company of the resident housecarls and his current companion when visiting said houses. Also I can't justify making Proudspire manor my main house. I chose the house of Markarth. Sometimes bigger is better, but this was not the case. The Markarth house has a sweet dwarven design and is nice and cozy. All my daedric artifacts are in here.
Hot Heart
In case you hadn't seen enough silly videos.
CorgiShinobi
Another silly Skyrim video too! Skip to 9:32 and watch for a minute. I guarantee you'll get a chuckle out of it. I happen to like watching Toby Turner, a.k.a. "Tobuscus," play some games. Thing you gotta remember is that he really does suck at gaming. In Skyrim he still has not gone to fight the first dragon because he believes it will be "really hard." He's now Lv. 8 and has enough weapons and abilities to probably kill the dragon in seven hits.
Eleven
Ebony Armor retexture, for those who like templar armors. I think it looks cool. Can't decide which one of them to get... http://skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=1432 http://skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2538
Waldorf and Statler
Man I told myself I was gonna play some Skyrim this weekend, but I ended up sleeping till 2 pm today, then hanging out with friends till 1 am. Shame really, I gotta study all day tomorrow.
TheMightyEthan
I told myself I was gonna play Skyrim this weekend and then accidentally talked my friend into buying Minecraft and spent a good chunk of the time playing that with him. TheRevanchist
I told myself I wasn't going to play Skyrim last night, as I am under the weather. I did play, though, completing a few minor quests and gaining even more quests. It never stops!

madbassman39
I told myself I wasn't going to play Skyrim last night, as I am under the weather. I did play, though, completing a few minor quests and gaining even more quests. It never stops! I'm 70 hours in, haven't done the main quest past getting my Fus Roh Dah, and haven't even touched the civil war quest line (stormcloaks!) and am almost level 40. Maybe I should focus on that eh? Waldorf and Statler
So the game crashed on me today right after I was about to enter the last building of my civil war mission. Not fucking cool. Not fucking cool
Eleven
I'm curious. Does anyone here use just 1 save file for Skyrim? Like save on 1 file, then keep overwriting it? Because I just save to a new file, always, even if the next save is 1 minute away (because sometimes I just feel like saving!). I rarely use quicksave too since I use a controller. I have a friend who "lost" his level 35 character, and I couldn't imagine how that could happen, then he said he saved over his character, he was so pissed. Looking at it right now, my uncompressed Save folder is 7.83 gigs! 1,030 save games. I could start from the Helgen dragon attack again. Thorgi Duke of Frisbee
After you said that, I went to check on my Skyrim save folder. Turns out I had 303 MB worth of save files, so I deleted almost all of them. Only ones left now are the single most-recent and three autosave files. Eleven
My fallout saves were about the same size, but it's just 100mb when I zipped them... I probably won't use those ever again, but I just can't delete them!
deanb
I've about 60 saves at the moment. Also the game makes a save for the moment before the character creator. Oh PC version also makes back ups too, so that's nice. 3 auto-saves, 1 quick save slot, any others you want, and the back ups. Can't say it's skimping on save slots. TheMightyEthan
I usually keep 15-20 saves, and overwrite the oldest one.
Saturnine Tenshi
I reached about 250 at the zenith of archiving. Then I decided it was ridiculous in a game whose past I didn't plan on visiting.
TheMightyEthan
Yeah, the only reason I save as many as I do is in case I get myself into a situation I cannot get out of, then I can go back to before it happened.
