Mal
The oddest friendly fire incident I ran into thus far is an Imperial courier running out of a cave section still full of enemies. He got a flame shout to the face and thought nothing of it as he talked to me in passing and out the cave's enterance. I left it at that until I fast traveled to Winterun. I had to reload and be a refugee for a while. --- Get kidnapped. Get pissed. Kill kidnapper. Proceed to wipe out the whole organization. Seems about right. Next time I'll join the Dark Brotherhood... TCP
Got the Dragon Armour! Took me 4ish hours of building daggers, mining iron, smelting, hunting, leathering, but I did it. Now me and Lydia walk around Skyrim looking cool and being tough as nails (dragon nails!).
madbassman39
I encountered a very annoying glitch. I rode my horse to windhelm, got off, and the horse went flying into a mountain for no reason. Just flew into the mountain. and died. OK, no problem, I can buy a new horse, stuff like this happens. It did it again but into a windmill at whiterun. So I'm a little irritated that I just spent 1k gold on a magical suicidal horse
Saturnine Tenshi
I've had that happen a few times, madbassman. Get off the horse and he's somewhere he shouldn't be, boning someone he shouldn't be. Edited December 30, 2011 by Saturnine Tenshi
TheMightyEthan
It takes a badass bandit to be both a bandit and an outlaw. This message brought to you by the Department of Redundancy Department.
deanb
http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=4862 Tweak for the favourites menu. Does kind of making it basically a secondary spell/items menu. Rather than something quick.
TheMightyEthan
I haven't been able to figure out how to work the favorites in vanilla Skyrim.
deanb
hit "F" while selecting stuff in the main menu. Hit Q to bring it up in a battle. While hitting Q you can also pass over the items you want and his 1-0 to add them to your hot keys.

Nexus
I have this. On the PS3. Yes, I'm lame and playing the console version, but my laptop is rubbish. So far I've got through the main quest to kill the first dragon, inadvertantly finding the dragonstone from the cave for the main quest before even getting to the Jarl. I've also had the shit scared out of me by a gigantic spider, and died against a flame atronach, and also when I picked a fight with those weird green skinned elves who have poisonous bows in a cave somewhere. I ran away from that cave for now. Playing a Breton specialising in Destruction, Conjuration and One Handed, currently.
Waldorf and Statler
I don't know why I do this, maybe it says something about my neutral nature, but I always tend to go with the neutral/bland character. In this case the Imperial. I like to be Jack of Trades, Master of none.
Nexus
Oh yeah, I'm siding with the Stormcloaks. I don't tend to be bad, but occasionally I will indulge in some pilfering or murder.
Connorrrr
so... I've been playing for about ninety hours now, and obviously my save file is getting kinda big... Whenever I open the favourites menu, the frame rate drops. It lags when I change weapon, too. This is the only lag I'm getting but it's rather annoying. Anyone else experiencing this? Eleven
PS3? I think that's a well known bug, and a serious transgression by Bethesda, as it was said to have existed in Fallout 3. Anyway I just want to ask, is anyonesince everyone is using the 4gb patch before the latest update, did you notice if it screwed with Raptr? Because my Skyrim hours are triple of what they actually are in Steam. Doesn't really matter. Just curious...
TheMightyEthan
hit "F" while selecting stuff in the main menu. Hit Q to bring it up in a battle. While hitting Q you can also pass over the items you want and his 1-0 to add them to your hot keys. Push F, doesn't get added to my favorites menu. Maybe the SkyUI mod is interfering... *Edit* - Figured it out, whatever key you have mapped the the change view setting is also what's mapped to your favorites. I changed my change of view button so I could put quickmagic on F, so my favorites button has changed even though it still says it's F in the menu. TCP
Dammit, I'm trying to get the Oblivion Walker trophy but the quest with the dog threw me off, I didn't realize that the Axe wasn't the Daedric Artifact, since you have to kill the dog to obtain it... unlike every other quest where you have to kill someone to obtain the artifact. P4: Gritty Reboot
So finally cracked open my copy of Skyrim. Made a Redguard female. One question: is there a quicker way to switch weapons than Q, scroll, click, Tab?
Luftwaffles
So finally cracked open my copy of Skyrim. Made a Redguard female. One question: is there a quicker way to switch weapons than Q, scroll, click, Tab? You can bind those weapons to keys 1-9 by pressing the corresponding key while you have the item selected in the favorites menu.

Cyber Rat
That's because the game does a horrible job of telling you anything.
