Waldorf and Statler
I think we can all agree I am right and Dean is wrong. Because my character is super setsy and could kick anybody's ass with his Albino powers.

Popular Post TCP
Well guys, I did it... My official time was 121 hours, 30 minutes, and 52 seconds. Though I did encounter a game breaking glitch and had to load an old save, so I lost about 7 hours. Either way, that's the most amount of time I've spent on a console game since at least Ocarina of Time (spent 100ish hours on Dissidia 012 last year). I feel a sense of accomplishment. For now, I am done with Skyrim... till they release some DLC. Soon, I hope, soon......
CorgiShinobi
Ah crap, I just learned about the Ebony Blade. I know I can use console commands or even "Dead Thrall," but I had the perfect opportunity last night. Those Forsworn I helped escape Cinna Mine? I already killed them all when I was tasked with killing the "leader" of the Redoubt. They were all friendly to me, even when I killed people right near each other. That was more than enough to fully charge the Ebony Blade!
madbassman39
I have the ebony blade, haven't used it, what is its power?
CorgiShinobi
I'll link here. Basically, it's a two-handed weapon that uses one-handed perks and has a default of 10 for Absorb Health. However, you an upgrade that amount by killing friendly NPCs to an amount of 30.

Connorrrr
So any mods people recommend already? Other than the obvious, awesome space core one, of course. I've not taken a proper look yet and can't imagine there's any game changers out just yet but anything neat?
Johnny
I went browsing in the workshop earlier and thought I might link the more interesting ones I found. Do note that I've not tried any of these myself yet. Midas Magic - More spells Open Cities Skyrim - Open Cities... for skyrim Mark and Recall - Mark and Recall as they existed in the older games. Particularly useful for people (like me) who play without fast travel. Faster Vanilla Horses - Makes horses useful Shadow Striping Fix - Fixes the awful shadow glitch that appears everywhere. Of course, these all pale in comparison to the best mod for Skyrim: Posh Mudcrabs.
Cyber Rat
I was about to install the Open Cities one, but then I remembered that some useful NPCs might easily die due to dragon attacks. Still pondering whether it's a good thing or not. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AYOFLqItuW4 Spend a week messing around in the game: make it infinite times more fun. I honestly hope they release these as official mods.
Kovach_
I fucking hate Bethesda now. I want my spears damnit. And the giant mudcrab.
Cyber Rat
Dude, I want to be a werebear riding a horse while wielding a spear and charging into that mudcrab. BECAUSE THAT IS FUN!
madbassman39
man that was an awesome video. I still love Skyrim, I've put in close to 110 hours since I got it. I want DLC now, because I finished the main quest-line, and I finished the Civil War quest line (not to mention hundreds of other quests) but now I want more epic quests. I would love to continue to siege forts, but I'm running out of forts to siege. As an Xbox gamer I cannot download the mods, hopefully when I get a full time post graduate job I can build my gaming PC and I'll rebuy skyrim on the PC just for that. But for now, I'm stuck with what ever the Xbox gives me.
RockyRan
I do hope these all eventually become "official" mods in the workshop. BTW, anyone else start to get random CTDs lately? I think the HD texture pack borked something for me.
CorgiShinobi
I've only had a single problem with the HD Texture Pack. In Riften there's that stump with a "Leg of Goat;" it was florescent blue. Otherwise, with how I have to play on Low Quality, the HD Texture Pack makes a bit more difference. RockyRan
Yeah I've heard those stumps hare fluorescent blue everywhere now. Must be some kind of bug.
CorgiShinobi
It must be some kind of log texture bug because I visited some camps last night and the logs used for fires were glowing slightly pink. 8 out of 10 of my Workshop mods have been gameplay fixes rather than anything actually fun/humorous. General fixes to followers, getting rid of the invisible follow bow, fixing merchants, faster horses, swapping Lydia's trade dialogue, and etc. I use to have the "following horse" mod which worked well. In fact, too well. When you wanted to leave the horse behind, it would always follow. Not too great for sneaking missions.
CorgiShinobi
Double Post, but for good reason! It's kinda a spoiler too, but it's about the Space Core! Hint: It does something cool! Alright, maybe you thought the Space Core was just a cool easter egg... WRONG! I was at the College of Winterhold when I discovered The Midden. I walked around and found the Atronach Forge. With the words "Activate Pedestal" I had placed the Space Core! I looked this up and it turns out you can make a "Dovahcore Helmet. http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Dovahcore_Helmet

madbassman39
http://ppsh-41.tumblr.com/post/13145143504/entire-tamriel-landmass-built-into-skyrim So ESV has all of the continent in the game, just not fully detailed. You can march into Morrowind and see Vvardenfell, or make your way to Cyrodill and see the White Gold Tower, using the no-clip command. Todd Howard addressed this saying that it was for draw distance. I don't know much about game making, but I assume that you don't need to model an entire continent to create a draw distance, there are other ways of doing it (painted walls work fine). Todd also stated that they thought maybe they could use that in the future (Morrowind/Cyrodill expansions anyone?). I personally wont be holding my breath for full country expansions (but I am wishing so hard) but what I do think is more likely is modders throwing in these countries with access to. It's exciting! Johnny
A morrowind-based (particularly vvardenfell) expansion to Skyrim is pretty high on the list of things I want.
deanb
Heh, this was covered in a post long long ago There's a quest where you end up in the sky and can see all around you. It's cheap to render that kind of stuff anyway, and extremely easy to make too. Like a couple hours work.
madbassman39
Heh, this was covered in a post long long ago Oops, my bad. I am super impatient, and my work internet is super slow, so after trying to search I give up and post anyways. I think the lesson of the day is: I am not allowed to post at work. There's a quest where you end up in the sky and can see all around you. It's cheap to render that kind of stuff anyway, and extremely easy to make too. Like a couple hours work. I did not know that I just assumed video games take a very long time to even craft a world. Still I will dream!
