Teenage Fuck-ups

I need to vent and share this with someone...

My youngest brother, who turned 14 a few months ago(we are 11 years apart), decided it would be a grand idea to take some of my father's 800mg Rx strength motrin to a friend at school. He took a bunch and shoved them in a baggie.

Well...he got caught. And now he is facing a drug offense and will be taken out of "regular" school and put into night school. 

I am overwhelmed by this. 

For one...WTF was he thinking?! That is sooo shitty to take someone's Rx medicine without their permission. My Mom is pissed at my Dad because he always lets my brothers take his 800 mg motrin...so, I guess he thought it wasn't a big deal? Wtf.

On the other hand...seriously? A drug offense over motrin? I mean, I get it, it's a Rx medication...and he doesn't have a Rx...and he's handing it off to a friend like it's tic tacs. But c'mon. It isn't a narcotic...fuck, I don't even think it's scheduled. 


Anyways...thought I'd vent. 

Such a fucked up morning.

Me and my older brother were more or less angels... something something don't shame the family something something.

 

Anyways, I think you guys know about my younger brother and how I feel about him due to his fuck ups. While blatantly stealing from my folks was pretty bad, I think his most serious offense was back in middle school when he was in his group of friend who had the bright idea of sending a sexually bullying letter to a girl. Well, her parents got a hold of that letter  and thankfully it was all handled within the school... I suppose. Could of been worst with sexual harassment charges and such.

 

I think my brother will be 19 this year so hey, last year of his teenage life. We'll see if he has any more teenage fuck-ups. His current group of friends are alright, I suppose. I'm not going to judge too much since I don't know them. If he fuck up again, eh, I'll be around. I just hope he doesn't fuck up too hard or too much.

My brother took apart a slide in the local play park. With a spanner and everything. Thing is for ages everyone was like "oh it wouldn't be him" and I was the only person who was "yeah it was likely him". Given that

1. slide was dismantled with a spanner. Average chave would just smash it apart but while neither of us have taken it up by trade we've mechanic in our genes.

2. the witness that reported it (and seemingly caught my brother in the act and managed to question him) had given the name of a town nearby to where we used to live. Which for everyone else was "well Josh never lived there" and I was "you know Police have a habit of substituting words right? like when I was shot with a BB and the report said 'air rifle', so likely Police put down closes major town".

 

Anyway he eventually broke down at police station and no charges pressed or what not but did a bit of work at the local church and ponied up £100(well, may parents ponied up £100) for damages.

I was a teenage fuck up, although I was probably the tamest out of my friends.

Actually during my teenage years I was pretty calm. It was before that I would always get into fights or other shit.

the shit I did / was involved in.. well, I don't want to incriminate myself even if the statute of limitations might save me.

 

But for what its worth it was a lot of fun.
