TheMightyEthan
What does the "3 @ 4 or less" mean on the heavy bombers' attack stat? I think I've figured out the rest of the unit sheet.

P4: Gritty Reboot
What does the "3 @ 4 or less" mean on the heavy bombers' attack stat? I think I've figured out the rest of the unit sheet. If you research heavy bombers they attack 3 times, hitting at a die roll of 4 or less. Mr. GOH!
It just means you should spend all your money on research, Ethan. There's a secret option that lets the US player unlock nukes, too.
P4: Gritty Reboot
End of turn 1: USSR moved some units around, foregoing a rush into Germany to reinforce England's navy. Germany steamrolled through Africa, claiming some UK territories. UK went for small naval skirmishes off the coast of Africa, taking out a German unit. Also claimed neutral Saudi Arabia. Japan went all-out on Hawaii and China, but did not fully occupy either one. USA reinforced its fleet at Pearl Harbor and strengthened western defenses.

P4: Gritty Reboot
I have been slacking on the AARs because we have been playing much more quickly than I had anticipated. In any case, Fuhrer GOH took over all of Africa and threatened Moscow, but could not quite put it away. Emperor P4 pushed the Axis' economy over the required NPL level to win by conquering eastern Russia, China, and... Western Canada. But I was stretched so thin that a couple easy attacks from President Ethan's growing Navy at the end of the round prevented us from winning. I think the sun may be setting on the Japanese Empire if we can't pull off a quick win soon. Current game state:
TheMightyEthan
Well lucky for you I had the revised rules in my head, which allow battleships to take two hits before sinking, so I sunk both my battleships when I had much less expensive things I could have sacrificed. Saturnine Tenshi
I only just figured out how to properly use transport ships. :T
Popular Post Mal
Comrades, Red Army and Red Navy men, commanders and political instructors, men and women workers, men and women collective farmers, intellectuals, brothers and sisters in the enemy rear who have temporarily fallen under the yoke of the German brigands, our glorious men and women guerrillas who are disrupting the rear of the German invaders! Comrades, it is under dire circumstances that I address you all today. The Germans has out Russian'd Russia! Despite your best efforts the Germanic horde is at Moscow's doorsteps! However it was not for naught. We have fought the Japanese horde and will soon expel them from Mother Russia and have bled the Germans for ever blade of grass. It was also not by the fault of you, Comrades, that Russia find itself at the German jaws. The United Kingdom forgot how to sail a ship and the United States traveled into the future where different rules apply. In short... lets do this.
Mr. GOH!
It was a valiant fight, but the scourge of communism has been banished from Moscow. The peoples of Eastern Europe and Russia can breathe easier knowing that they are now beyond Comrade MaliciousH Stalin's bloody grasp.
P4: Gritty Reboot
The Japanese empire continues to crumble... save me, Fuhrer...
P4: Gritty Reboot
And now we all join hands and sing the German national anthem together! Well done GOH. A victory in spite of an incompetent teammate.
Mr. GOH!
And so it ends. The Pax Germanica settles upon the world, and freedom rings in the beer halls of the Greater German Empire, from Kishasa to Vladivostok to London to New Delhi. America stand alone, and will soon be annexed, as their troublesome fleet is stuck half a world away. Good game, guys! Edit: You did a good job, P4, despite the wack-ass transport interface. Things would have gone quite differently had Ethan sent an army to Africa or Southern Europe. We were all getting our bearings this game, anyway. TheMightyEthan
America hastily recalls her fleets, redistributing them between the Atlantic and Pacific. She assists the UK in setting up a government in exile in Canada, puts Fortress North America into effect, and offers an armistice to the Third Reich. *Edit* - Terms are to turn over control of the Philippines and East Indies to the Reich, return all land military units to the Americas, Hawaii and Midway, and to limit all future fleet/air force activity to the sea regions bordering the Americas, Hawaii and Midway. Mr. GOH!
Very well. The Reich accepts your surrender.
P4: Gritty Reboot
Once everyone has had time to recover, we can open up discussion of another game to play. Rematch, different players, different game: whatever.

Mr. GOH!
I'm open to whatever. I could host a Risk-esque game on Warfish. I love the Middle Earth board, as it supports up to 8 players. It's huge.
Saturnine Tenshi
I'm up for another.
P4: Gritty Reboot
Are any other forum members looking to join? Happy to give up my seat if someone else wants to get in on the fun. I would vote for another Axis & Allies round since a lot of us were confused by the interface for the first half of the game (except the Fuhrer it would seem...). Would we want to take the same factions or new sides?
TheMightyEthan
I'd say random nations, if that's possible.
